RIP Nog thought the episodes where he suffers from PTSD were pretty good he never became the cheerful Nog from the past after that.

Yes, and in "It's Only a Paper Moon" he was basically living in the holosuite, "working for" Vic, etc. But by the end he was over it and came back out into "the real world."
