I wonder how many people realize that Ezri's mother in this episode, was Thorn's girlfriend in "Soylent Green?" Leigh Taylor Young.

Some guys do seem to have that anyway, because they find women who apparently want to be treated like crap, and then treat them like crap.

Well according to "the furniture" the last "tenant" treated her nicely so that is not entirely true.

Outliers. Most of the "furniture" at that party likely wasn't treated very well, and they seemed to expect it. But it was better than living in - or under - a '72 Buick up on blocks, and maybe eating some dry crackers occasionally.

Well she also mentioned that her former tenant treated her nicely compared to other tenants but it seems to be a popular concept in SF In the original Roller Ball we see women treated in an equal matter or worse in Schlöndorff 's movie version of The Handmaid's Tale

Yes, but if women were treated equal to men, in Soylent Green there wouldn't be any "furniture."
Plus "Handmaid's Tale" is one-sided claptrap. Does anyone want to claim if the roles were reversed, that men wouldn't be treated as "property" too?

Better watch out Knix otherwise you may give Oduntola an excuse to use it in claiming you are misogynist

Well in the movie most men (except those in power) were treated as breeding cattle and the series is highly popular
