El cap de família i propietari del dojo Tendo rep una postal: en Ranma, el que ha de ser el seu successor i marit d'una de les seves filles, està a punt d'arribar. A les noies Tendo no els fa cap gràcia, però qui finalment arriba és un enorme panda amb una noia que es diu Ranma. L'Akane, la germana petita, es fa amiga d'ella. Al cap d'una estona, Ranma va al lavabo i l'Akane hi entra amb ella. No hi ha d'haver cap problema perquè, després de tot, és una noia, no? Però al lavabo hi ha un noi: Ranma Saotome, perquè Ranma i el seu pare són víctimes d'una maledicció. Les germanes de l'Akane decideixen que seran molt feliços junts i Ranma i Akane es prometen.

L'endemà al matí, Ranma descobreix que l'han matriculat a l'institut Furinkan, el de l'Akane i la Nabiki. En arribar-hi, descobreix que la seva nòvia és molt popular, i que se suposa que qui la derroti en combat sortirà amb ella. L'Akane es desfà dels rivals sense problemes, però en Kuno Tatewaki, el capità de l'equip de kendo, és més dur de rosegar. Ranma hi intervé i s'enfronta a Kuno, però un panda el fa sortir del camp de batalla. Tots dos s'han fet mal, però Ranma té un problema més immediat: a la tarda, acaba fora de classe amb Akane i, com que es posen a xerrar, Kuno sent que estan promesos i decideix venjar-se.

En Kuno i en Ranma salten per la finestra per lluitar, però Ranma no s'adona que han saltat a la piscina. Kuno, mig inconscient, l'agafa pel pit. Ranma s'enfada i de poc el mata per ser tan descarat. Evidentment, Kuno s'adona que el seu contrincant no és un home i el persegueix. L'Akane mira d'entretenir-lo mentre Ranma es torna a transformar en home, però Kuno la descobreix i proposa un encontre a Ranma noia. Quan Ranma arriba disposada a enfrontar-s'hi, Kuno la sorprèn confessant-li que està enamorat d'ella.

En Kuno vol saber qui és la bella desconeguda que l'ha seduït, i la Nabiki es fa d'or venent-li fotos de l'Akane i del seu nou amor. Mentrestant, Ranma té malsons per culpa de la declaració de Kuno i està molt irritable. Kuno creu que Ranma té alguna cosa a veure amb la noia pèl-roja i el desafia.

L'Akane s'està entrenant amb el seu pare i, després de recordar com és de desagradable Ranma, el deixa fora de combat. La Kasumi li fa prometre que mai més tornarà a pegar un home però, després, l'Akane es troba Ranma pel carrer i, tot i que intenta controlar-se, acaba pegant-lo i acompanyant-lo al consultori del Dr. Tofu. Ranma s'assabenta que a l'Akane li fa gràcia el Dr. Tofu, però que el Dr. Tofu està enamorat d'una altra noia.

En Ranma segueix l'Akane fins al riu. Quan s'hi acosta, l'Akane li clava un cop i li cura l'estrebada del coll. L'Akane està una mica més animada i comencen a empaitar-se fins que en Ranma cau al riu. Després, van a menjar-se una hamburguesa i l'Akane li explica la història de la Kasumi i el Dr. Tofu. En Ranma creu que l'Akane hauria d'abandonar en favor de la seva germana.

En Ryoga, totalment perdut, arriba a un poblet on és atacat per un porc senglar. Se'n desfà sense problemes i pregunta a uns pagesos on és l'institut Furinkan. Li diuen que ha d'anar a Tòquio, però Ryoga acaba a l'illa de Hokkaido, la més septentrional del Japó, i després un altre cop al poblet del porc senglar. Mentrestant, la Nabiki i l'Akane intenten que en Ranma es posi roba de noia, cosa que aconsegueixen després de moltes dificultats. Finalment, en Ryoga arriba a l'institut i desafia Ranma. Però Ranma no el recorda: triga uns minuts a adonar-se que és un antic company d'escola a qui sempre robava el menjar. Acaben enfrontant-se però, tot empaitant en Ranma, en Ryoga va a parar al mateix poblet del principi. En Ranma i l'Akane l'esperen a l'institut.

En Ranma no entén per què en Ryoga l'odia tant. Finalment, en Ryoga torna a l'institut i comencen les apostes. Com que tothom aposta per en Ranma, la Nabiki decideix ajudar en Ryoga a guanyar amb unes pastilles suposadament miraculoses. Comença la baralla i els contrincants acaben al zoo, on una font mulla en Ranma i el transforma en noia. En Ryoga es posa furiós i l'ataca encara amb més força. En Ranma i l'Akane s'enfilen a un arbre. En Ryoga talla l'arbre i intenta atacar en Ranma, però li talla accidentalment els cabells a l'Akane.

L'Akane torna cap a casa i li demana a la Kasumi que li arregli els cabells. Després se'n va a cal metge perquè ha pres mal durant la lluita i, quan el metge li diu que els cabells curts li queden millor, es posa a plorar. Mentrestant, en Ryoga, després d'enviar una pobra àvia a voltar pels carrers una setmana buscant una comissaria, troba el dojo i intenta despertar en Ranma per desafiar-lo. Quan ho aconsegueix, l'Akane l'ataca creient que és un lladre i en Ryoga es mulla accidentalment. En Ranma l'empaita i comença a sospitar que també és víctima d'un sortilegi. L'Akane troba un porquet a l'habitació i decideix adoptar-lo. Com que en Ranma va a banyar-se, l'Akane li demana que s'endugui el porquet, que, en tocar l'aigua, es transforma en Ryoga.

Tot fent un volt, en Ranma noia veu com un emmascarat ataca unes companyes de classe. Es decideix a intervenir-hi i descobreix que l'atacant és la Kodachi, àlies "Rosa Negra". És una alumna d'una escola rival i vol que totes les oponents es retirin de la competició de gimnàstica marcial. L'Akane accepta participar-hi, però és un autèntic desastre com a gimnasta i, malgrat els esforços del Ryoga per entrenar-la, no li surt res. A la nit, la Kodachi ataca l'Akane, però en fugir topa amb en Ranma i es desmaia. Quan obre els ulls i veu en Ranma, decideix que ha trobat l'home de la seva vida, el paralitza amb una droga i intenta aprofitar-se'n, però l'Akane no està disposada a tolerar-ho.

L'endemà, la Kodachi es presenta a l'escola per veure el Ranma i tothom descobreix que és la germana petita del Kuno, que està encantat amb el nòvio de la seva germaneta. En Ryoga, que s'havia perdut, arriba just a temps de contemplar el desastre: la vigília de la competició, l'Akane es torça el turmell, i l'única solució que se li acudeix és que en Ranma la substitueixi i que el Ryoga l'entreni. Aquest, naturalment, es perd mentre intenta arribar al poliesportiu i la Kodachi li salta al damunt. Així que comença el combat, la Kodachi encadena P-Chan al canell del Ranma.

Com que el premi per al guanyador és en Ranma, P-Chan fa tot el que pot perquè perdi. La Kodachi fins i tot els tira aigua calenta i, per un moment, tots dos són nois. Quan en Ranma aconsegueix treure la Kodachi del ring, resulta que el ring es mou, perquè a sota hi ha tot l'equip de gimnàstica per impedir que ella perdi. En Ranma descobreix el truc i finalment guanya el combat. Ja a casa els Tendo, en Ryoga no té cap problema per transformar-se en porquet i dormir amb l'Akane, per més que en Ranma intenti evitar-ho.

En Ranma va a dur-li menjar al doctor Tofu. A la consulta hi ha la mare del doctor, que ha vingut des del poble per veure el seu fill i animar-lo a casar-se. El doctor Tofu no gosa dir-li res de la Kasumi, de manera que en Ranma i l'Akane decideixen fer creure a l'anciana que l'Akane és la nòvia del seu fill, perquè se'n vagi tranquil·la. Però les coses es compliquen i el doctor acaba amb tres suposades promeses: l'Akane, la Nabiki i en Ranma noia. Però, quan la seva mare veu amb quins ulls es mira la Kasumi, ho comprèn tot.

En Ranma noia i l'Akane són a una gelateria quan, de sobte, una noia destrossa la paret i intenta matar en Ranma. És la Shampoo, a qui en Ranma havia derrotat a la Xina i que ara vol matar-la per recuperar l'honor. En Ranma i l'Akane s'escapen però, quan arriben a casa, es troben a la Shampoo esperant-les. En Ranma es transforma en noi i la Shampoo ataca l'Akane, però en Ranma la defensa i torna a derrotar a la Shampoo. Aquesta, en lloc d'intentar matar-lo, li fa un petó apassionat: ara, segons la llei del seu poble, estan promesos.

La nova promesa del Ranma desafia l'Akane i, quan ell arriba, troba l'Akane a terra i totalment amnèsica: ho recorda tot menys en Ranma. El metge els explica que la Shampoo ha utilitzat una famosa tècnica xinesa i que l'Akane només es curarà amb un xampú especial. En Ranma promet a l'Akane que trobarà el xampú encara que hagi d'anar a buscar a la Xina.

Ranma es prepara per al viatge, però a mig camí la Shampoo li ofereix l'antídot amb la condició que es casi amb ella. En Ranma s'hi nega i la Shampoo li proposa una altra compensació: que mati la noia pèl-roja. Com que això no pot ser, en Ranma demana al seu pare i al Soun que l'apallissin perquè la Shampoo es doni per satisfeta, però l'Akane hi intervé i de sobte ho recorda tot. Perquè la Shampoo entengui d'un cop el que passa, en Ranma es transforma davant seu.

Últim capítol de la primera temporada. És un resum de tot el que ha passat fins ara.

Who would sell his only son for a bowl of rice, a fish and some pickles? Genma Saotome, that's who! And now, the wealthy resturant owner has come to collect, demanding Ranma marry his daughter unless Akane can beat her in the ancient art of Martial Arts Takeout Delivery...

En Ranma rep un paquet de part de la Shampoo, però en obrir-lo es posa histèric, perquè és una gateta i els gats li fan pànic. En Sasuke, el ninja d'en Kuno, descobreix aquesta debilitat i li explica al seu amo, que li prepara una trampa a en Ranma: deixa tot de gats famolencs i un tigre al gimnàs. En Ranma es transforma en gat per fer-los fugir, però després queda convençut que és realment un gat. El seu pare intenta tranquil·litzar-lo però no ho aconsegueix. Quan en Ranma veu l'Akane, es llança sobre ella per roncar-li a la falda.

Arriba l'àvia de la Shampoo en un moment en què la situació és tensa: en Ryoga i en Kuno volen matar en Ranma per haver-li fet un petó a l'Akane, quan el pobre noi no recorda res. L'Akane està furiosa, però no perquè li hagi fet un petó sinó perquè no se'n recorda. Mentre en Ranma és al bany, la gateta entra a l'aigua i es transforma en la Shampoo, però l'Akane els veu i es torna a enfadar. La Shampoo li diu al Ranma que per culpa seva va caure en una font i ara s'han de casar. La Cologne lluita amb en Ranma i li toca un punt del cos que fa que no pugui tocar l'aigua calenta.

En Ranma no es pot tornar a convertir en noi perquè no suporta l'aigua calenta. La Shampoo espera poder aprofitar la situació per casar-se amb ell. El mal del Ranma només té un remei: unes píndoles que la Cologne porta penjades al coll. Per poder prendre-l'hi, en Ranma es posa a treballar al restaurant i la Cologne li ensenya el truc de les castanyes (Tenshi Amaguriken), que consisteix a treure les castanyes del foc sense cap protecció a les mans. En Ranma no domina la tècnica, però descobreix que pot entrenar-se amb piranyes. Desafia l'àvia, la derrota i es pren una píndola, que és un caramel normal i corrent.

El doctor Tompu dóna un cop a en Ranma en un altre lloc perquè pugui tocar l'aigua calenta i tornar a ser un noi, però en veure la Kasumi s'oblida de dir-li que el remei només funciona un cop. Apareix en Mousse, un pretendent de la Shampoo que vol derrotar en Ranma per casar-se amb el seu amor. En Ranma i en Mousse s'han de trobar l'endemà per lluitar, però en Ranma cau a l'estany i torna a ser una noia, però té una idea per derrotar en Mousse: fer-li creure que és millor mag que ell, perquè s'ha convertit en noia. Finalment, aconsegueix derrotar-lo amb el truc de les castanyes (Tenshi Amaguriken).

Els Tendo se'n van a esquiar i es troben la Shampoo i la seva àvia. Organitzen una cursa per la neu: el guanyador podrà anar a fer un volt amb la Shampoo i, a més, aconseguirà les píndoles màgiques. En Ranma hi participa i arriba al final, però l'àvia no el deixarà passar si no promet casar-se amb la Shampoo. S'enfronta amb l'àvia, però aquesta té més experiència i força. En Ranma només té una possibilitat: es transforma en gat i ataca desesperadament a la Cologne, que li dona les píndoles que el tornaran a transformar en noi.

L'Akane perd el Baconet a la pista de patinatge i l'Azusa Shiratori l'adopta. La parella de l'Azusa, en Mikado Sanzenin, l'hi torna, malgrat que l'Azusa desafia l'Akane. Però quan en Mikado intenta fer-li un petó a l'Akane, en Ranma hi intervé i acaben desafiant-se per parelles pel trofeu Charlotte, que és el nou nom del Baconet. En Ryoga vol ser la parella de l'Akane, però ni ell ni en Ranma saben patinar i l'Akane els hi ha d'ensenyar. L'Azusa i en Mikado van a veure l'entrenament i en Mikado li fa un petó a la Ranma noia. Boig de ràbia, es transforma en noi i desafia al Mikado.

En Mikado creu que en Ranma no és adversari per a ell perquè no sap patinar, però tot i això decideix utilitzar la seva tècnica definitiva: el Shiryouno Bonodori. Mentre l'Akane li cura les ferides a en Ranma, li diu que és un inconscient i que, si hagués estat atent, en Mikado no l'hauria besat. En Ranma l'agafa per sorpresa i de poc li fa un petó. L'Akane li diu que, si vol, pot fer-li un petó, però en Ranma no gosa. El dia del combat, en Ranma aparta en Ryoga i, ja al ring, quan en Mikado intenta fer-li un petó a l'Akane, li diu que és la seva promesa i que, si la toca, el matarà.

Després de la declaració del Ranma, en Mikado està més decidit que mai a posar fi a la seva relació amb l'Akane i fa servir la seva tècnica estrella: fer giravoltar la parella contrària fins que un dels dos deixa anar l'altre per salvar-se. Però en Ranma no vol deixar anar l'Akane i, perquè no es faci mal, acaba estavellant-se contra la paret. En Ryoga mulla en Ranma i intenta treure'l del ring per fer parella amb l'Akane, però s'equivoca i acaba fent parella amb en Ranma. L'Azusa s'encapritxa d'ell i deixa sol en Mikado, que rep una pallissa de ca l'ample. Però en Ranma i en Ryoga continuen lluitant fora del ring. L'Akane, intentant separar-los, cau a la piscina i tots dos es llancen a salvar-la.

En Ryoga continua obsessionat a derrotar en Ranma i accepta l'ajuda de la Cologne per seguir un entrenament especial. En Ranma, l'Akane i en Genma se'n van a la muntanya a entrenar-se i hi troben en Ryoga i la Cologne. L'Akane és molt mala cuinera, però en Ryoga troba els seus plats deliciosos, cosa que és un altre motiu de disputa amb en Ranma. La Cologne anuncia que entrenarà en Ryoga durant una setmana i després tindrà lloc l'enfrontament.

En Ryoga comença a aprendre l'avançada tècnica del Bakusaitenketsu, i en Genma, que està preocupat perquè sap que el seu fill no el podrà derrotar, el fa entrenar-se esquivant abelles per poder esquivar els cops d'en Ryoga. El dia del combat, la Cologne lliga l'Akane a un arbre i comença la lluita. En Ranma evita tots els cops d'en Ryoga, però els seus atacs no fan cap efecte, perquè l'entrenament ha reforçat molt la musculatura d'en Ryoga. Finalment, tots dos cauen al riu i en Ranma treu el Baconet de l'aigua.

En Ranma i l'Akane es porten com gat i gos i els seus pares ja no saben què fer. Els proposen que lluitin junts per defensar el gimnàs, però ells dos no s'hi avenen. De sobte, apareix la Shampoo amb una fórmula xinesa que transformaria en Ranma en home per sempre i promet donar-l'hi a canvi d'una cita. En Ranma decideix deixar la defensa del dojo en mans de l'Akane, però durant la cita amb la Shampoo està preocupat per ella. La Shampoo, a més, s'aprofita d'ell. L'Akane té greus problemes perquè el seu adversari és molt fort. en Ranma torna just a temps i, tots dos junts, donen la victòria al dojo. A més, resulta que la fórmula miraculosa de la Shampoo era falsa.

L'Akane va de compres amb la Kasumi i guanya un peluix en un sorteig, però un tipus vestit de xinès l'hi pren i diu que ha segrestat l'Akane. Tothom rep invitacions per a un nou circ xinès, on descobreixen que el segrestador és en Mousse. Com que és cec, va caure a les fonts de Jusenkyo i ara es transforma en anec. Vol venjar-se d'en Ranma, però la Shampoo passa d'ell com sempre, de manera que segresta l'Akane i amenaça de mullar-la amb l'aigua de la Font de l'Ànec Ofegat.

En Ranma salva l'Akane del raig d'aigua encantada, però en Mousse posa en joc tots els seus recursos i acaba tocant l'Akane de ple i enviant-la a una de les carpes del circ. En Ranma troba un aneguet i creu que és l'Akane, però es desespera quan veu que l'aigua calenta no la transforma. Els Tendo organitzen el casament i, quan està a punt de celebrar-se, l'Akane reapareix. No s'havia convertit en ànec perquè l'aigua era normal. L'Akane veu en Mousse tan trist que li diu que lluiti per la Shampoo i suggereix a en Ranma que es deixi guanyar per treure's de sobre Shampoo. Però en Ranma no n'és capaç i, després d'un dur combat, derrota en Mousse. Sembla que a la Shampoo li fa llàstima i se l'endú a casa... per fer-lo treballar al restaurant.

En Ranma i l'Akane topen amb un vell pervertit que coneix els seus pares. Resulta que és l'Happosai, el seu mestre, a qui van emborratxar i tancar per desfer-se'n. Ara l'han de tractar bé, perquè no deixa de ser el seu mestre, però ell diu que només vol una cosa: entrenar el seu successor, de manera que deixen en Ranma a les seves mans perquè en faci el que vulgui. L'Happosai intenta atacar la Shampoo, però la Cologne hi intervé i aconsella a en Ranma que se n'aparti. En Ranma i l'Happosai s'enfronten, però a l'hora de la veritat l'Happosai desapareix rere un grup de noies.

En Ryoga ha trobat la manera de no tornar a ser mai més un porquet: al mateix Japó hi ha una font que solucionarà el seu problema. Però en Ranma també vol anar-hi, de manera que s'alien. Com a part del pla, cal entrar al vestidor de les noies, i en Ranma es transforma en noia i hi entra, però el descobreixen. L'Akane li diu que és un pervertit i, amb els nervis, dona un cop a terra i en surt un raig d'aigua... que resulta ser d'una canonada. Però també apareix una antiga gerra blava.

La Cologne explica una antiga llegenda segons la qual amb la gerra blava, la groga i la vermella es pot trobar l'antídot de l'encanteri que pateixen en Ranma i en Ryoga. Resulta que la gerra vermella és a casa d'en Kuno, i l'arribada d'en Ranma provoca uns quants problemes: la Kodachi intenta matar l'Akane i tots els altres van caient en les diferents trampes que hi ha per tota la casa. El combat final té lloc a l'enorme bany dels Kuno, on tenen amagada la gerra, que acaba en mans de l'Happosai.

En Ranma recupera la gerra vermella. Només falta que la Cologne els digui on és la tercera, que resulta que és al mateix restaurant. Els nois han d'anar amb totes tres gerres a una muntanya que és prop de la ciutat. Quan surti el primer estel, apareixerà la font màgica. L'Happosai intenta barrar-los el pas, però la Cologne es desfà d'ell. Arriben al lloc indicat però l'únic que apareix és un rètol que diu que la font està avariada i que s'ha d'anar a la font original, a la Xina.

L'Akane ha fet galetes a la classe de cuina i vol que en Ranma les tasti, però la Kodachi els interromp i s'endú les galetes. Tot perseguint-la, l'Akane i en Ranma cauen en una posició compromesa i la Kodachi aprofita la situació: els ha fet fotos i li fa xantatge a en Ranma. Aquest vol prendre-li els negatius, però no serà fàcil: la Kodachi els ha posat al collar de la seva mascota, un cocodril. A més, el collar només s'obre amb aigua calenta. En Ranma es transforma en noia i demana ajuda a en Kuno, que accepta encantat. Finalment en Ranma es menja les galetes, però li agafa mal de panxa.

Hi ha un lladre de roba interior que volta per la ciutat. Quan descobreixen que és l'Happosai, les autoritats s'acovardeixen. En Ranma encoratja tothom i finalment s'enfronten al mestre, però l'Happosai s'enfada molt i no para de fer trapelleries fins que fan fora en Ranma de casa i li exigeixen que demani perdó. L'Akane decideix ajudar-lo amb una pols xinesa que és un repel·lent de dones: la cus a la roba de l'Happosai, que no es pot acostar a cap dona perquè l'eviten. Quan està a punt de morir, una pluja molt oportuna transforma en Ranma i l'Happosai l'abraça i se salva.

L'Akane farà el paper de Julieta en una funció i tothom vol fer de Romeu, alguns per besar l'Akane i d'altres per la promesa d'un viatge a la Xina com a premi. Com que hi ha tants candidats, es decideix organitzar un torneig de lluita a l'escenari. En Ranma està disposat a gairebé qualsevol cosa per guanyar el viatge, però besar l'Akane és massa. L'obra va degenerant i en Ranma fa de Julieta i fins i tot besa en Kuno, sense adonar-se que està ferint l'Akane, a qui el paper feia molta il·lusió. A l'última escena, en Ranma ha de besar l'Akane perquè ressusciti, però no s'atreveix. l'Akane obre els ulls, l'agafa i li fa un petó.

El lavabo no funciona i tothom ha d'anar als lavabos públics. La Nabiki convida unes quantes amigues perquè sigui més divertit. L'Happosai també s'ho vol passar bé i intenta entrar al lavabo de les dones, però qui rep és en Ranma, perquè totes creuen que el pervertit és ell. Després de moltes baralles, totes les dones se'n van excepte una bonica pèl-roja: en Ranma agafa l'Happosai per apallissar-lo i entre tots dos ho destrossen tot.

Akane is shocked when she witnesses Genma getting attacked by a stranger referring to him as father, wanting revenge for being abandoned. Who is this Ukyo?

Ukyo tries to set Akane and Ryoga up on a date, hoping to get Ranma for herself. Ranma, however, intends to do his best to ruin it...

Caring and gentle as ever, Shampoo brings Ranma a lunch with a little 'extra spices', causing Ranma to get an irresistible urge to hug anyone who sneezes.

Furious at being prevented from accompanying Akane to the hot-springs, Happosai decides to recover the scroll containing his most deadly attack - The Happofire Burst - to teach them all a lesson. Ranma is however determined to find it first, and it's a battle of wits as they both try to infiltrate the scroll's resting place - an all girls hot-spring...

Ranma recives a challenge from one Tsubasa Kurenai, a strange girl determined to win back her beloved Ukyo.

Distressed at the frequent panty thefts, the town council turns to their local hero, Soun Tendo, for protection of the town relic - an ancient bra said to contain the ghost of a merciless empress.

After getting beaten by Shampoo, Akane is thrilled to find that Happosai's magic noodles she accidently ate has given her super strength. But can she live with the side-effects?

The Jusenkyo Preservation Society decides they have stood by long enough, letting Ranma and co abuse their Jusenkyo curses for immoral and selfish purposes, and dispatch a team charged with capturing them and teaching them the error of their ways.

After a nasty blow to the head, Ranma wakes up believing he's a girl. No more martial arts for her, it's flower arrangement and tea ceremony from now on...

After being gone for a while, having fled to avoid Happosai's wrath, Soun and Genma return, claiming to have studied ancient ninja techniques that will enable them to beat the master once and for all.

After getting in the middle of an argument between Kuno and Kodachi, Sasuke is banished from the Kuno estate. When Akane finds the loyal ninja sulking in the park, she feels sorry for him and invites him over to the Tendo Dojo for dinner. Shocked that someone actually is being nice to him, Sasuke starts to reconsider his oath of loyalty to the Kunos.

A ghost is terrorizing Furinkan High at night, and Ukyo heads up an effort in getting to the bottom of this. It proves a dangerous task though, when one by one the 'ghostbusting' teams turn up uncouncious.

It's a calm day on the beach, until Happosai discovers a bracelet containing three pills capable of making someone fall madly in love with the first person of the opposite sex they lay eyes on.

Finding Ryoga terribly depressed after getting beaten by Ranma, Mousse suggests they team up, combining their skills to get revenge.

A magic mirror sends Ranma and co a few centuries back in time to a small Chinese village, where a young girl named Cologne is torn between love and disgust for the 18 year old underwear stealing 'adventurer' running around calling himself Happy.

Upon hearing that the Tendo's are broke and running out of food, Kodachi offers to move in to give her future husband and his family proper care. Despite Ranma's protests, Genma and Happosai welcome her with open arms.

A fortune telling classmate of Akane predicts that Happosai hasn't get long to live, and that Ranma and Akane will soon be married. When the old master starts showing signs of weakness, the unwilling fiancees better hope they find a cure - fast.

Two younger warriors from Shampoo's tribe show up, and are shocked to learn that she hasn't killed Ranma yet. Outraged, they decide to dispatch Ranma themselves, using their fearsome 'Dance of the Great Fire Dragon' technique.

Happosai separates Ranma's girl and boy bodies using a magical incense. However, the girl body ends up with all of Ranma's evil, turning it into a vicious spirit that wants to enslave the male Ranma to her will.

The infamous martial artist Copycat Ken is loose in Furikan, able to not only copy people's moves, but also their appearance and strength and turn it against them.

When Ryoga accidently gets his hands on Shampoo's curse curing soap, he decides it's finally time for him to ask Akane out on a date. But Shampoo wants that soap back, and so does Ranma.

A giant obstacle course race is being held, and the first prize is a trip to China. Naturally, Ranma intends to win it.

Ranma and Genma steal Happosai's magic mirror, and travel back to Jusenkyo with the old goat tagging along. Much to their surprise they arrive just at the time of their previous visit, giving them a perfect opportunity to stop them from falling into the cursed springs altogether...

Furinkan High's principal returns from a long trip to 'study' American educational system, unfortunately he turns out to be completely insane. His first order of business is to institute a policy of buzz cuts for boys and bowl cuts for girls unless the students can find the coconut with a 'get out of rules free' note in it...

To help him carry out his new position as Furinkan High's Moral Guardian, Kuno turns to Happosai for training.

Furious at Ranma for delivering him into the hands of a mob of angry women, Happosai brands Ranma with ancient mark, causing him to become 'as weak as a mere babe'. Upon hearing this, his enemies start lining up to give him a beating... What's poor Ranma to do?

Just as Ranma is about to give up, Cologne gives him hope in the form of the 'Hiryu Shoten Ha', a devastating technique he can use even in his weakened state... if he can manage to learn it.

Armed with the 'Hiryu Shoten Ha', Ranma goes after Happosai. But the old master, knowing something is up, keeps his temper, rendering the attack useless unless Ranma can figure out some way to get him really worked up...

Tired of Ranma treating her as 'one of the guys', Ukyo decides to change her clothing and behavior to something more feminine. This causes great commotion at school, both amongst the boys, and among Ranma's other suitors, who do not care for the added competition.

A mysterious woman shows up at the Dojo, having long conversations with Genma. Is it really Ranma's mother, come to take him away to live with her?

Alone in a cabin in the woods, Ryoga sits pondering the nature of his relationship with Akane.

Shampoo shows up with an oversized bell for Ranma, claiming it'll make them fated to stay together forever. The bell however turns out be cursed, carrying the spirit of Maomorin - the giant ghost cat, looking for his bride.

The Principal hires a new teacher, who takes it upon himself to get Ranma and Akane to openly express their feelings towards each other while they're still young.

A young man is awestruck when he sees Happosai in action, and seeks out the Tendo Dojo, wishing to become a student of Anything Goes Martial Arts. The master accepts, and it soon becomes apparent that he's a very dedicated pupil... at bit too dedicated if you ask Ranma.

Off to the mountains to find a Christmas tree for the Master, Ranma and Genma become separated. When Ranma and Akane go looking for him, they find him living in luxury as a panda, having been adopted by a rich woman as a playmate for her sickly son.

Ryoga decides to try to enroll at Furinkan High, though first he has to pass the placement test. Akane agrees to tutor him, but with all the commotion that happens in the Tendo Dojo on a regular basis, can he manage to keep his mind on his studies?

Happosai falls head over heels in love with a pre-school teacher, but is he willing to give up the underwear stealing for her sake?

A fortunetelling friend of Sasuke's divines that Nabiki is the girl Tatewaki is destined to spend his life with. Still torn over having to abandon Akane and 'the pig-tailed girl', Kuno starts to court Nabiki, who naturally welcomes the opportunity to milk him for everything he's worth.

After sharing his food with an old hermit, the man repays Ryoga by making him the strongest man in the world. But is it worth the price?

Terrified that Akane has figured out that he's really P-Chan, Ryoga tries to leave the town forever. Ranma continues to try to figure out a way to beat Ryoga, while Akane tries to force him to tell her what he knows about the mark shared by Ryoga and P-Chan.

Kasumi seems unusually cheerful after a chance encounter with a stranger, leading Nabiki to speculate that she's found herself a new boyfriend.

Kuno's got a magic sword capable of granting 3 wishes, and Ranma smells a cure for his curse. The 'upperclassman' has already used two of them... How far is Ranma willing to go to get the third?

Ranma suddenly falls head over heels for Shampoo when she ties him to her with the magical Red Thread of Fate. Just a few more hours and the effect will be permanent, and Akane doesn't care one bit... does she?

After betting it all on a final fight with Ranma, Mousse loses and is forced to give up on Shampoo and go home to China. But before he leaves, he's determined to make Shampoo happy by forcing Ranma to give up his other suitors.

10 years ago, Ranma gambled away the Tendo Dojo. Now the 'Gambling King' has come to collect, and Ranma has to win it back. However, in spite of his name, the King is so bad at gambling he only manages to beat children. Sadly, that provides little comfort as Ranma's even worse...

Azusa becomes convinced Kuno is a tanuki, a legendary creature with magical powers, and promptly adopts him as her 'Marianne'. Ranma and Akane are just happy that the two are keeping each other busy, until Azusa starts to suspect Akane wants to take her new pet away form her again.

Akane runs away after Ranma ruins her anniversary dinner, and the entire household has to spend the rest of the night looking for her.

Why are there strange small men running around chopping off people's pigtails? And what's the Dragon Whisker? What is Ranma hiding...?

A mysterious gang of martial artist using old fashion toys as weapons are about, and one of them, a young girl, challenges Akane for the Dojo's sign... and wins. Can Akane manage to win it back?

A hotsprings resort is having a big obstacle course race as a PR gimmick, with the first prize being a trip to another resort of the contestants choice. Seeing a chance to get back to Jusenkyo, the whole gang enters, unaware that the resort is trying their best to stop anyone from winning, since they're broke and can't afford to pay for the prize...

When the Principal starts going on about his long lost son, Sasuke starts to have his suspicions. But can get to the bottom of this as the school is turned into a war zone by the Principal's 'Get out of all school rules' class tournament fight.

While out on one of his journeys, Ryoga gets taken in by a farmer and his daughter who's convinced he's the legendary hero 'Joe', come to save them from the crooks that have been terrorizing the area.

Something strange is in the air, as one by one the members of the Tendo household fall asleep and enter a twisted dream world controlled by Happosai.

Furious at both Ranma and Nabiki, Akane tells them to go marry each other. Much to her surprise, Nabiki decides to take her younger sister up on the offer.

Furious at Ranma for eating his sweets, Genma decides to make Ryoga his disciple and heir.

Dr. Tofo gets a free pass to an amusement park and invites Kasumi, who takes the rest of household with her. Once there, the money starts flying, and suddenly they discover that an unwanted guest has eaten their lunch.

A masked man sporting a black pigtail is stalking the girls of Furinkan at night, with Ranma being the prime suspect.

Akane is kidnapped by a pantyhose wielding youth capable of turning it to huge winged monster.

There's water everywhere as Ranma, Ryoga, Shampoo and Mousse try to take Taro's cliff topp hideout and save Akane.

Ranma isn't home yet due to an important business and Akane goes out looking for him.Shampoo,Kodachi and Ukyo end up looking for him to because they want to spend Christmas Eve with Ranma alone. Akane gets fed up and tells them that Ranma will spend Christmas with her(revealing her feelings for Ranma). At the park, Ranma gives Akane presents that she wanted(which is the important business, isn't that sweet?). They go home together and everybody end up spending Christmas Eve together at the Tendo residence.(Shampoo, Kuno, Ryoga, and the rest of the gang.)

After a night of sudden snowfall, Ryoga shows on the Tendo's doorstep, half frozen to death and rambling about a giant snow monster.

While fighting with his father over a takoyaki, Ranma accidentally sets free three unspeakably evil spirits, one of which is a living panda doodle that wants a date with him.

Kuno washes up on the beach, with a watermelon on his head and suffering from amnesia.

While out in the wilderness, Genma falls into a river and hits his head. When he wakes up he finds himself in an earlier time, near a village inhabited by familiar faces.

After 10 whole years of fermentation, it's finally time for Ukyo to try out the special okonomiyaki sauce she made as a child. Unfourtunaly it tastes so horrible that she collapses, and the Tendos take her in while she recovers. While she's there, Akane grows increasingly jealous, especially since Ranma is going out of his way to be nice to someone he claims he just sees as a childhood friend...

Trying to keep Ukyo off his back, Ranma goes along with Nibiki's plan, pretending that he and Akane are already married. She's not the kind of girl who gives up easily however, forcing the 'newlyweds' to keep up the charade around the clock.

Sentaro shows up fearing for his life, wanting Ranma's help to rescue his kidnapped grandmother.

Distracted by Ranma scuffling with Gosunkugi, Akane gets a bone fracture during gym class and has to spend the next few days in Dr. Tofu's clinic. Everyone comes to visit her... except Ranma, who just can't decide what he's going to say to her.

Soun, Genma and Ranma are hired to rid a seaside resort of the nasty marauding octopus pot that has been terrorizing the guests.

Gosunkugi sees a chance for a date with Akane when he obtains a set of magic paper dolls, capbale of forcing someone to obey whatever command is written on them when they're stuck to the individual's back.

A young boy capable of reading people's minds shows up at the Dojo, but gets upset when nobody believes in his talent, and starts taking it out on Ranma.

When Akane reads out aloud words of an old notebook in Toramasa's store, the ghost of a teenage girl appears, reciting a haunting rhyme.

Happosai's plan to teach Ranma some manners backfires, when the magic pill he took makes them stick together - literally.

Aloha the Principle decides he needs a vacation. He leaves Kuno on in charge not because Kuno is his son (so he says), but to give Kuno the opportunity to show responsibility. Kuno declares himself a champion of virtue. He runs into some trouble trying to enforce a school rule of no close personal relationships between sexes on school grounds.

Ranma and Happosai team up to conquer the Ogre Festival of the Dark. Happosai prepares Ranma personally for the match of his life. If Ranma loses The Ogre Festival of the Dark it will be the end of the Anything-Goes School of Indescriminate Grappling. Winning the tourney, the true horror of the situation is revealed.

The Jusenkyo guide shows up in Japan! He will perform a ceremony which will tap the water table that is the source of the 'Spring of Drowned Man' to where there is a new Jusenkyo spring in Japan! Where is that spring? Naturally, it's the pond directly outside the Tendo dining room.

A pack of magical, powerful cards has fallen into the wrong hands, and now Happosai is several times as much a pain as before! It was bad enough when there was just one of him- now there are six!

Shishi Hoko-Dan - the Lion's Roar Blast! Better than the construction specific 'Breaking Point' technique (which worked only on rocks), Ryoga's new move has got Ranma on the run. Can he get away fast enough?

Happosai's always relied on his Happo Dai-Karin or 'Happo Fire-Burst' technique to get what he want, but when the 'karin' part changes to 'kaBIN', Happosai's mold starts gettin' old real quick....

Oh those wacky, squabbling, Kuno siblings. Tatewaki (age seventeen) is in love with girl-type Ranma, while Kodachi (a.k.a 'the Black Rose') adores the boy-type. Brought to blows by jealousy, where's King Solomon where you need him?

Once again, it's return of Martial Arts Tea Ceremony master, Sentaro. This time, he needs Ranma and Akane's aid to rescue his kidnapped grandmother. The whole incident seems to be over some treasured tea set that rival schools have fought over for generations, and now it's Sentaro's turn to prove his worth!

The ever-so-morose Hikaru Gosunkugi has met the girl of his dreams. The weird thing is, she even seems to like him back! The trouble is, the girl is Kogane, the teenage ghost. What can Ranma and Akane possibly do to make this ghostly love story work?

Having learned (or been the victim of) almost any martial-arts style imaginable, Ranma's never-the-less about to learn a whole new one: Martial-Arts Cheerleading! Mariko Konjo, pep leader extraordinaire, is fixing to put a hurt on Akane...and Ranma can't allow that. But is he willing to pick up a pair of pom-poms to stop her?

Ranma's got the basic moves down, sure, and that uniform really is cute, but then it turns out that it's Kuno's kendo match he has to cheer for. No way! Worse, Mariko's crush on the so-called 'Blue Thunder' means the only way Ranma can win-and avenge Akane's honor-is to somehow best Mariko in a cheerleading contest. Under these circumstances, how cheerful can Ranma be expected to be?!

This is like no bathing-suit competition you've ever seen! The contestants are Akane, Shampoo, Ukyo and Kodachi...plus girl-type Ranma, and Tsubasa Kurenai to boot. Knowing these girls, it's going to be one hot competition!

During an annual cleaning of the estate, Kuno comes across an ancient taiko drum that's got the devasting power of a howitzer. And what good is a weapon if you don't turn it on your friends, right? As if that weren't enough, now Kodachi's got an equally devastating lute...which she promptly turns over to the principal. Cue the music!

Ryoga encounters Checkers (Shirokuro) a black and white dog. The dog saves P-chan when they went over a waterfall, so Ryoga starts to take care of the dog and feed it. The dog takes a love letter Ryoga had written out of his backpack and delievers it to Akane. Akane doesn't know who the letter is from because Ryoga didn't sign it, but gives Checkers a letter to give to return. The letter said that she had someone that she loved, and was sorry she couldn't return the writers feelings. Ryoga is horrified when he reads this, but then Ranma asks him if he had signed the letter Akane read. Upon realizing that he hadn't, Ryoga believes that the 'somebody' Akane is talking about is actually him.

While on their way home from school, Akane and Ranma discover a strange fish in a puddle. Dr. Tofu tells Ranma he should take it home and use it for a class project he has to do. Kasumi invites Dr. Tofu to come stay with them because of the tsunami that is about to hit. Once they get home, they realize the fish is actually an infant dragon. Dr. Tofu learns that the dragons meat will grant immortality, and the Frogman (from episode 100) arrives and tries to eat the dragons meat.

While visiting Mrs. Tendo's grave Ranma begins to wonder about his own mother. Nodoka Saotome, Ranma's mother, had just sent a postcard telling the Tendos she was going to visit. Ranma is quite eager to meet his mother, but Genma explains to everyone that he made a promise to Nodoka when Ranma was first born. He made a death pact to Nodoka, which states that Ranma, be either reared as man among men or they be put to the sword. Genma and Ranma decide to hide their true identities and tell Nodoka that Ranma is actually Ranko, a cousin of the Tendos.

Nodoka's stay is rather short, and Ranma hears that she is planning on returning home soon. He decides that he would really like for her to meet him as himself rather than as Ranko. Genma warns Ranma and constantly tries to stop him. When a water main explodes and sends Nodoka flying, Ranma saves her and Nodoka catches a glimpse of her son before passing out. When she awakens, she sees Ranko and thinks it was all a dream. Nodoka says that in her dream Ranma was very manly. Ranma tells Akane that he will wait until he can be normal before he tells his mother the truth. At the end, Ranma and Akane head off to school, and then turn towards the screen and say 'Goodbye!'.
