The Kids Are Alright
When Jackie finds out Kelso has a new girlfriend she chooses Hyde over him, but--surprise!--he has someone new too. Eric is living with his parents to help out his dad, but all he wants is to be with Donna in Madison. Meanwhile, Kitty still tries to convince Eric he should stay with them and not go to Madison. Eric finally realizes that he can't go away to school, but is surprised to find Donna still plans to. Kelso also finds a problem when he drinks eggs only to find out he is allergic to them.

Kelso decides to help Jackie and Hyde get back together with hilarious results. And Eric realises that the sadder Donna becomes, the more she wants sex. Kitty decides to help Red with his new doctor-imposed diet.

A representative from INS is coming to find out if Fez's marriage to Laurie is for real. To avoid deportation, Fez must stay with the Formans and get on Red's good side. Donna encourages Kelso to take responsibility for his actions by talking to Brooke about the baby. But for some reason Brooke decides to let him off the hook.

After Eric loses his job, he finds himself up for the same waiting job as Kelso at the Holiday Hotel; Donna and Jackie send newly single Bob a box of fudge to cheer him up; Red tries to help Fez and Laurie get divorced.

It's Kelso's first day as a police cadet and he gets to drive around in a police cruiser with a real cop. His first stop is the Forman house to break up a domestic disturbance (Fez and Laurie are fighting over her sex life). The encounter leaves Fez burning mad, but he gets a chance for revenge when Kelso leaves the cruiser unattended. Meanwhile, Eric attempts to fix the water pipes and lawn mower in order to prove to Red that he's not a failure. And Jackie joins a Big Sister program at school.

The day of the rehearsal dinner, Eric comes to the realization that he could be holding Donna back if he marries her. He attempts to tell her this when the Formans come visit the mobile home Donna picked out. Although he denies having second thoughts, he drops enough hints to make Donna begin to worry about the wedding herself. Meanwhile, Michael makes a very poor first impression on Brooke's mother; Hyde and Fez try to decide who Eric's best man will be.
