I'm a little confused (SPOILERS)

In S4E8 has Dreyfuss see a vision of the future where he's conquered the U.S. and is having a conversation with Molly and yet she's still a kid when an elderly Ichabod is brought before them. Now in E11 we meet an older version of her from the future, who says that Ichabod sent her back to stop Dreyfuss from raising the Horseman. What has me confused and hopefully it's somehow explained in the next two episode is from how far in the future she's from. She looks to be in her early 20's and Molly is 10 now, plus also Ichabod had been chained up in both of the visions seen by Dreyfuss and Molly. If both things are meant to be true, then within those 10+ years, Ichabod had somehow been freed/escaped from Dreyfuss and taken Molly with him, raising her in the process, before sending her back to the past.

it seems to have gone off the rails here, now that mollys mother isn't war the future that molly came from no longer exists so molly should have disappeared,dreyfuss was supposed to take molly now and take over the world and raise her, it wont happen crane is war so being captured and chained wont happen and he wont be helping molly study and travel back in time, time travel is tricky stuff to put in any show theres to many things that wont make sense so either except what they have done with the series or drive yourself batty chasing the white rabbit down the rabbit hole lol.

I'm not too worried by it, just can't wait to see how it's going to be explained these next two episodes.
