Item: Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Language: en-US
Type of Problem: Incorrect_content
Extra Details: The series finale has been split into two parts for streaming/digital release (and presumably for reruns, though I haven't confirmed that).
I was going to create a new episode and link it to the new "Streaming Release" episode group I made so as not to affect the existing "Production Order" group, but it looks like creating new episodes has been locked. The new group is fully populated except for the fact that it doesn't have the intended episode 8x10 "The Last Day (2)" as part of Season 8, because I can't see how to create a new ep/entry.
I'm motivated in part by the fact that Trakt.tv currently has an entry for Brooklyn Nine-Nine 8x10 that points to a nonexistent episode here at TMDB, but the two-part version (8x9 & 8x10) is present on several digital platforms (have checked iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, and VUDU; Hulu has the full-length 9th episode).

The main episode list should reflect the original broadcast of the series. So, it's not possible to add an episode.
An episode group can only be used to reorder existing episodes. It can't be used to add episodes.

I don't know if "The TVDB" is a bad word around here, but it seems to me they have an edge in cases like this.
Due to their policy changes I no longer contribute there, so I won't be asking them to change B99's episodes around, but they do make it possible to have an episode split into multiple parts when included in different orderings. See season 1 of Lost, for example: Broadcast order (24 episodes, two-part finale) vs. DVD order (25 episodes, three-part finale).
Is that possible here? I saw that not every episode needs to be assigned to a group, so there could be an 8x10 of B99 that is only assigned to the digital/streaming order, and is left out of the official broadcast ordering.
(Didn't really want to bring up the more general question about this kind of thing in a report-specific thread, but for the life of me I can't see any non-item-specific discussion categories anywhere. It's TV, Movies, or people/celebrities. Where can we ask questions and make suggestions about site features or policy?)

No, it is not possible here.
Only episodes from the main order list can be added to an episode group.
