Alright here goes.

Nope, we don't get confirmation who Red really is, in fact they seem to really straddle the fence between he's Katarina and a completely separate person who really loved Katarina. So Liz goes to her grave never knowing who Red really is. And as far as character deaths, I think Liz's was pretty good. I mean...Townsend's main henchman was a true friend, like Townsend's own Dembe even. He wanted to avenge Townsend just like Dembe would want to avenge Red (well, except if Liz went through with Red's ridiculous plan, obviously). Even though he knew it would mean his immediate execution afterwards.

Now I'm wondering where season 9 is gonna go. Dembe said whatever Red has he's on the mend but Red was...determined to give the keys to his kingdom to Liz. Now that that isn't gonna happen, I guess he's gonna get better and just...go on a rampage? Or maybe we'll see him try and go straight to raise Agnes. Individual relationships with the task force since the common factor (Liz) is now dead. Well, he already has them, I mean maybe they'll get stronger. Very curious to see what's in store in a Liz-free Blacklist going forward.
