What's sad is I don't think there's anyone who didn't see that coming. I didn't think she would stab him but I knew she would kidnap him. I knew she would be evil. Sigh.

And let me guess, next season's finale will involve Liz being forced to kill Katarina.

I just watched that episode again and a closer look showed she was holding a large syringe. She drugged him with something. I have long suspected that Katarina was still alive. And I'm not alone. From all the facts we were given it is very odd that Red never seemed to suspect that she had faked her death. No body was found, just some clothes on the sand by the ocean. From that he concluded that she had swum into the ocean and drowned herself? Wouldn't her body have washed up somewhere? Or at least a piece or two? Maybe Red thought that if she were really alive she would have found a way to contact him at some point.

So I am wondering what rationale will be constructed to explain why she drugged Red, the one person she could always trust. Having hidden herself all these years from both the Soviet, then Russian intelligence community, and the US intelligence community, is she now extremely paranoid? I can see that as part of the reason she drugged him and had him kidnapped. If two superpowers could not find Katarina in all this time, how did "The Stranger" (played by Brett Cullen) manage to track her down so quickly and easily? What is his back story with Red?

Theodora Miranne is back as a nanny for Elizabeth's baby, having played that role in the short lived Blacklist spinoff. Damn she is hot. I hope they find a larger role for her. I just like looking at her.
