Elizabeth Keene has certainly "grown up" in season 5. After Tom's death, she's become an one woman demolition team, who also cleans up after herself.
S5E09 "Ruin":
Liz eliminates a hit team of four (!) assassins.
S5E10 The Informant":
She fights and kills (by accident) Navarro.
S5E11 "Abraham Stern":
Elizabeth knows how to "clean". Did she learn that from Mr. Kaplan? And to top it off she fools Red in helping her steal evidence that could incriminate her for Navarro's death.
She is also very good in pretending to be the poor, weak, grieving widow, so no one suspects her (except maybe Singleton) and are glad to help her with anything.
Is she going to be Red's downfall in the end? She's without doubt following in his footsteps and gettting better at it. One day she'll even be on his "Blacklist" and he can be proud of what she has become.

Liz is becoming a lot more like Red except that she is relying on herself whereas Red relies more so on others. Although that is beginning to change considering the development at the end of the latest episode. I've also begun to wonder about how all this will end up and I can only think of two possibilities; either Liz will finally have enough of Red and take him down (i.e. kill him or get him put behind bars) or she'll end up joining him in running his empire. Either way, it's going to be a betrayal, either to Red or to the FBI. I'm going to take a guess and say it will be the bones in the suitcase and their significance in relation to Liz that will be the deciding factor.
