I don't think it is. Red's guy I think is Glen Carter played by Clark Middleton. The guy I believe you're thinking of is Ian Garvey played by Jonny Coyne. They do bear a similar physical appearance; I thought Middleton was a lot shorter than he actually is (he's apparently 5'4") whereas Coyne is only 3" taller.

Ah. thank you. I didn't want to stereotype short bald white men, but how often do you have two of them on the same show? They even sound similar.

You're welcome. TBH I was kind of interested myself. I was fairly certain it wasn't the same character (might have made it interesting if it was - wouldn't Red be really pissed) but seeing your thread made me want to be 100% sure. I would add overweight to your description, so seeing as they now have 4 physical characteristics in common, I wouldn't be surprised if there were others who thought the same thing. I find Red's buddy Glen a bit more obnoxious - in an entertaining way.
