I am rewatching season 2 right now and just saw the segment with Marcel in the trenches in WW I. His unit was gassed and he wound up turning them by giving them his blood after they figured out he was a vampire. He told them "we are going over the top, we will feed on the blood of our enemy, if we die we will come back again because we are the brotherhood of the damned and we cannot be defeated."

That got me thinking, it would be great to have a special forces unit made up of vampires. They would have to worry about being blown up, or getting staked through the heart, but not much else. They could wear chest protection to keep from getting staked of course. That would be one helluva spec forces unit; fast, strong, fearless.
