Pretty good second episode, feel like the Anansi and Bilquis parts were kinda unnecessary and would've been better if they used that saved time to finish the negotations with Czernobog instead. Also too bad they didn't show Laura raised from the death like in the book, and producers instead went with a dream scene.

well the Anansi bits are from a companion novel called Anansi Boys that they have mixed in with this, according to some stuff I have read they will interact with Shadow and Wednesday later in the series

Anansi part was important, it brought in a new character, the Bilquis part was unnecessary, we don't need to see her in every episode having sex, we get it, she is a sex god (lol), they should have focused a bit more on that Jinn (glowing eyes dude)
