I think it's going to be great. I am excited. Starz has been hitting grand slams with black sails, outlander, and power... haven't watched the girlfriend experience, ash vs evil dead is also fun... so I think this has the opportunity to be another instant classic.

Great first episode, the only bad part were the blood effects which I can overlook since the characters are amazing. Hope the story will be too.

That was one hell of an episode. Crazy.... Fuller strikes again. Reminds me of the style of Hannibal.

I enjoyed Ep2 quite a bit more than the first, I haven't read the books and I have no f@cking idea of what is really going on, I have my ideas, but nothing concrete. Loved the playing of the checkers game regarding the stakes and I was honestly thinking that Mr Moon was going to jump up and blindside Stormare's character with the hammer. I am very, very interested as to what will happen in the following episode, it seems obvious that Moon will survive the debacle, but who knows.

Good catch Alphazoom, re: the "Hannibal-esque" special FX. I haven't checked (and I won't,) but does anyone know off hand if any Hannibal alumns are attached to American Gods?
