Get your mute buttons ready everyone... 40 minutes of "historic" and "hashtag women's evolution" and "revolution" and nonstop self-promotion incoming. I figure she'll either start a feud for herself or make sure to get into the ring to raise the hand of the winner for the photo they send to all the major outlets.
Ugh.

I wouldn't be incredibly shocked if she became a surprise entrant and won by eliminating Asuka.

Me either. This is the same company that named Santino Marella as Miss Wrestlemania, had James Ellsworth win the first women's MITB, and had Ric Flair play a deciding role in the first Women's title match at WM 32. Plus they're dedicated to positioning Stephanie as the "catalyst" for the "women's evolution" (despite the fact that she was head of creative for years and did nothing to better position the women's division). Absolutely nobody should be surprised if they choose to go that route.
(if I had to put money down I'd put it on Asuka or Nia though. But I wouldn't be surprised if Steph won either).

Well, looks like she managed to keep her nose clean. I think a lot of fans were expecting her to do the same, I'm glad that she kept out of it - but it makes sense. I can't remember the last time she actually wrestled, Summerslam 2014? Makes sense to keep her out of it. Still expecting that showdown with Ronda though.

She managed to keep out of the Rumble itself, however I suspect her WrestleMania match with Ronda will be billed above Asuka’s title challenge - which is understandable, given Stephanie/Ronda is the greater attraction and been anticipated for some time. However, if Stephanie is given a 30-minute slot (video package and entrances included) and the women’s championship matches are trimmed to five minutes apiece - or bumped to the pre-show - it will undermine a lot of the good work that’s been accomplished.
