Thoughts on Survivor Series 2017?

I thought it was alright, nothing special aside from the Styles/Lesnar match (which at 15 minutes and not including more than one participant, is Lesnar's longest match in the WWE since facing The Undertaker). Not only that, but they managed to make Lesnar look like a beast while making AJ look strong. That was the best part of the match for me, that one epic part with the calf crusher and then Brock smashing AJ into the mat. All of it was incredibly well done and probably one of my favourite big man vs smaller man matches.
The main event was a complete mess. All the wrong stories being told and all the wrong stories that will take center stage.

Shield vs New Day was a really good opener.
Women's Survivor Series match was an absolute mess except for the ending. Who did Becky Lynch piss off to get treated that way?
Miz vs Corbin was better than I expected it to be.
The Usos vs The Bar was a really good tag match.
Charolette vs Alexa was, again, better than i expected it to be. Probably Alexa's best match (not counting fatal four ways or the such)
Lesnar vs Styles was fantastic and should've closed the show.
The main event was a complete and total clusterfuck. It was as bad as the previous night's War Games match was awesome. The first ten minutes were actually pretty decent, but then Nakamura and Rhoode are obliterated by Strowman within 3 minutes of each other. That was when I realized Smackdown's team for the rest of the match would be part timers and my enthusiasm waned.
and it only got worse. We get a rapid fire series of eliminations. Angle and Cena have a horrible confrontation. Joe and then Balor are eliminated. Being fair, they had a better showing than Nakamura and Rhoode at least,. Then we finally got down to Shane in a three vs one situation, stalling one minute outside the ring for every remaining opponent. Angle is eliminated solely due to HHH interference. We then have a stupid spot where HHH pretends he's going to turn on Strowman, even though Shane is dead to rights and he could just hit the pedigree, which he does a moment later.
Last year's SS men's match was an awesome, dramatic affair where everyone got their time to shine and looked great coming out of the match. It deserved to close the show.
This? The only one who looked good coming out of it is Strowman. Nakamura and Rhoode looked utterly worthless, Joe and Balor only slightly better. Even Cena didn't get to do a whole lot.
Owens and Zayn are actually better off for NOT having been in this multi man buried alive match.

My heart sank when Nakamura and Roode were eliminated. Not only that, but Cena and Triple H could have at least made a little bit of an effort to actually look like they were on their respective teams. I thought it was pretty lame for Triple H to come out in one of his shirts regardless if it was red and Cena...Cena didn't even try at all.
It is Rumble and Wrestlemania season, I'm ok with the idea that Survivor Series is the start of some storylines rather than a conclusion but when you bury you're supposed B-Show stars like that (and the show itself), it gives the audience little reason to care. Not only that but Triple H essentially making Nakamura and Roode look like chumps, I thought they were his NXT guys.
Big difference between Triple H - Head of NXT and Triple H - WWE performer.
