As if it wasn't already obvious that Orton was going over again, they go and make it a certainty by making Jinder Mahal the #1 contender. I mean, what are they gonna do, Bray vs Jinder? That pretty much confirms Orton is winning.
I suppose they could do a triple-threat match with Wyatt, Orton, and Mahal if Bray wins, but I don't foresee that happening.

I think the House of Horrors match is no longer for the WWE Championship.

If this is the case, then Bray could still ultimately win the match. This is the rubber match if I'm not mistaken. They could easily do a title of Bray winning and affecting Orton's perspective as champion which would leave Orton/Mahal as Orton's "redemption" so to speak.

Well, that's fucking stupid.
On the flipside, at least it nearly guarantees just the opposite - That Bray is going over.

That's what happens when your "shake up" decisions are made at the last minute.

I'm assuming Bray is going to go over, but I think they've shot themselves in the foot regarding his character once again. Everybody is under the assumption that Lesnar is going to be holding onto the Universal Championship until next Wrestlemania - there's literally no way for him to progress on RAW back to the main event level unless it means being fed to Lesnar. Hopefully he might get a long run with the I-C Championship since they seem to be doing literally nothing with Dean Ambrose either. A feud between those two could at least be interesting as long as it revolves around the belt rather than them just hating on each other.

It was one of those 'whoever wins, we all lose' situations. Didn't think they could sink any lower than they did at Wrestlemania, but they cut a hole in the bottom of that barrel, and just kept on falling. Wow.
