From what I gather, half of Triple H's salary comes from his work as an executive and the rest includes payments for his matches, bonuses and stock options.

A little surprised to see how high Shane's salary is, I assumed he'd probably be somewhere near the top but wouldn't have expected him to get a bigger payday than The Undertaker. I'm especially surprised at Orton's paycheck considering he's one of the bigger superstars and is potentially going to become the face of Smackdown.

I wish they'd do something with Dean Ambrose considering how much money he's getting paid, the guy seems to have lost his passion after the Lesnar match at Wrestlemania 32.

Lesnar's salary...well...I still like the guy despite the complaints he gets...but well, that's just staggering.

Lesnar is the most overpaid wrestler in history – by a wide margin – to the point that it’s hard to fathom how WWE generates a profit.

The general consensus is that he’s an enormous draw who generates mainstream publicity, however there’s minimal evidence to support those arguments.

His rare house show matches draw pathetic gates. Lesnar/ADR in December 2015 drew 8,000 fans in a 16,000 building. Lesnar/Sheamus in January 2016 drew 7,000 in an 18,000 building.

Lesnar/Show in March drew 5,000 in a 16,000 building. By comparison, in the same week, Cena/Styles drew 6,000 in a 10,000 capacity building – which itself is nothing to brag about – nevertheless the Raw brand is a historically bigger draw.

His PPV numbers are equally pathetic. He’s never been a merchandise seller.

His television ratings are... meh. His 2.99 million viewers for this year’s Road to WrestleMania were slightly above average (less than Goldberg, of course) yet 600,000 down on last year’s Road to WrestleMania.

As for publicity, Google trending for WrestleMania 33 makes for an interesting read. He didn’t even crack the top 50. Cena came second (after WrestleMania itself) and when Asuka, Nakamura and Miz and Rick Rude are trending above the man headlining the show, well...

It seems the only publicity he’s generated in the last twelve months was when he failed a drug test, and I’m not sure that was worth $12m...

I know longevity plays a role in salary, but man, Hunter made ~$2 million for a half year's work in which he did the same long, boring promo he's been doing for 20 years now, and put on one of the worst Wrestlemania main events of all time... I know he did some house shows and I hear the match with Ambrose was really, really good, but still.... geez.
