That's strange, he was listed as a creator of a number of series (excluding The Vietnam War) when I last checked, but now all his "creator" credits have gone. He's not listed as creator here either, just director - http://www.pbs.org/kenburns/the-vietnam-war/about/credits - but he did create these series.
I guess the creator label isn't warranted here? Does it have to be specifically listed in the production credits?

He probably was incorrectly credited then. If there is no creator credit in the on-screen credits, it's best to leave the field blank.
