Julia, Jim, Norrie, Joe a Hunter dále pokračují v odboji s cílem zachránit obyvatele Chester's Mill. Jenže moc se jim to nedaří. Naštěstí se jim podaří spojit s Lill, operátorkou z vnějšího světa. Ten totiž nezanikl, jak si všichni pod kupolí mysleli. Vše byla jen projekce stran Christine. A právě Lill by jim mohla pomoci s plánem vyhodit do vzduchu tunely s kokony. Nicméně, při realizaci plánu si Big Jim neuvědomí, že v tunelech mezitím uvízli Joe s Norrie. O život tak jde i těm, kteří ještě kouzlu Christine nepodlehli. Sama zatím Christine dostává na svou stranu krevní infuzí, Norrie se snaží přivést do normálu svou mamku, a Julia zase Barbieho.
