三人在凶狸狐的带领之下，终于进入试验会场，而会场内也早已经聚集了许多的考生。像是自称试验老手的东巴、散发诡谲氛围的西索、话讲个不停的忍者半藏，以及手持滑板的少年奇犽等。第一次试验即将展开。

With the navigators' help, Gon, Kurapika and Leorio arrive at Zaban City, the venue of the exam. The navigator leads them to a small restaurant, which is revealed to be the front for the venue. Gon's group is led to an elevator disguised as a back room, which leads a hundred floors underground. Below, they meet the rest of the participants and given their numbers. There they meet Tonpa, a regular participant who claims to have tried and failed 35 times in the exam.

Nos trois héros ont réussi le quizz et l'épreuve des raton-renards. Ils arrivent maintenant au site de l'examen et se retrouvent avec les autres candidats dont le vétérant Tompa et un petit jeune du nom de Kirua.

Gon, Leorio und Kurapika erreichen die Stadt Zaban, wo die Hunter-Prüfung stattfindet. In einem unscheinbaren Restaurant treffen sie auf ihre Konkurrenten. Einer davon ist Tonpa, welcher allerdings nicht so nett ist, wie es auf den ersten Blick scheint …

Gon, Kurapika e Leorio arrivano a Zaban City, la sede dell'esame per Hunter, dove incontrano Tonpa, un altro candidato veterano stranamente amichevole.

キリコに連れられて、ついに試験会場の中に入った3人。会場にはすでに多数の受験生たちがひしめいていた。試験のベテランだと語るトンパ、不気味な雰囲気をだすヒソカ、おしゃべりな忍者のハンゾー、そしてスケボーを手にした少年キルア。いよいよ1次試験が始まる。

키리코의 안내를 받아 헌터 시험장에 도착한 곤, 크라피카, 레오리오. 시험장에는 405명의 지원자들이 모여 있다. 곤, 크라피카, 레오리오는 지금까지 봤던 지원자들하고는 수준 차이가 확연한 실력자들임이 느끼고 긴장한다. 그때 35번이나 헌터 시험을 치른 베테랑 통파가 그들에게 와서 말을 건넨다.

Kiriko trouxe os nossos três heróis até a área da prova. Muitos aplicantes já se encontram no local. Encontra-se até o veterano Tonpa, o arrepiante Hisoka e um ninja falastrão, o Hanzo, além de um jovem com um skate. A primeira fase da prova está prestes a começar.

Gon, Kurapika și Leorio ajung la locul examenului, unde se află deja mulți alți candidați, inclusiv un ninja vorbăreț pe nume Hanzo.

Los navegantes llevaron a Gon y compañía al lugar donde se impartirá el examen, donde ya han llegado muchos aspirantes. Entre ellos se encuentra el veterano Tonpa, el espeluznante Hisoka, el conversador ninja Hanzou y un niño con una patineta, Killua. Finalmente está por dar comienzo la primera fase del examen.

Gon, Kurapika ve Leorio sınav alanına ulaşır. Burada aralarında geveze bir ninja olan Hanzo'nun da yer aldığı çok sayıda katılımcıyla karşılaşırlar.
