Extra Details: Many of the included "specials" are not specials at all but full episodes in their own right – all episodes starting with "Nekomonogatari", "Hanamonogatari", "Tsukimonogatari", "Koyomimonogatari", "Owarimonogatari", and "Zoku Owarimonogatari" should be listed as their own seasons.
What confuses this list of seasons outside of the specials even more is that many episodes are grouped together under the season "Monogatri: Second Season". This not only includes only about 2/3 of the "second season" the first and third seasons are not grouped like this with "Bakemonogatari", "Nisemonogatari", and "Owarimonogatari" listed as their own things despite the former two being in what is referred to as season one and the latter being in season three.
I understand this is probably confusing, I would honestly recomend just looking up a list of episodes online, with an honestly really good one being on Wikipedia of all places on the page "List of Monogatari episodes"

Only the episodes TV broadcasted during the original run of the series are part of the regular seasons.
All other episodes should be listed as part of the Specials season.
