I just started watching this show. Didn't know of her before, so it seems fresh, to me.

But she died peacefully at a good old age, which is about as much as anyone can hope for.

What I found a tad strange is that, as late to the party as I may be, yet I was the first to respond to this post by @bratface - so, in that respect, I'm actually early.
