They can't do what they want, if they are reliable source. Apple is, it releases episodes officially on their platform.
And again, they are two original broadcasters, that lists only that episodes that aired on them. This doesn't mean that Disney+ episode aren't part of season.
The fact that an episode is part of a season or not is decided by the broadcaster. None of the 2 broadcasters have indicated that these episodes were part of that season (This can be done without listing the episodes they don't have).

Because it was originally released this way by Disney+ as indicated by the @Sheigutn message at the top of this discussion.

Here, we follow the original broadcasters. So, there will be no change.
They don't mention they aren't part of the season too. By your words - "this is enough" .
You can't proof anything you say, but still think you are right.
Disney+ actually has this listed with the main show now. The old link that was provided no longer works (https://www.disneyplus.com/movies/the-simpsons-o-cmon-all-ye-faithful/2mKQBi8E2fjB). Since Disney plus now lists this under the main show can it be added as a special and removed from movies? Now if you search for "O C'mon All Ye Faithful" nothing is found. You have to got to the series and select "Exclusives" from the season drop down. This also looks to impact "The Past and Furious".

We always follow the original broadcast. Consequently, our listing is correct.
That works fine for traditional over the air episodes. It's obvious in how the episode was described and how it's listed now that Disney+ always felt this was a special. For all we know there was a technical issue or it was originally listed wrong. I think how the original broadcaster is listed it should have some weight in your decision. For example what if originally a show is listed with episodes 1,2,3, jumps to 5 but then two weeks later when the real episode 5 comes out goes back and lists everything as 1,2,3,4,5. Are you going to have two 5s listed because 4 was originally also 5?

They have listed it as a movie as long as it was the only one (2 months). They have only changed it when the second one has been released. Consequently, the first should be listed as a movie and the second as a special episode.

For episodes, the king is the broadcast order. So, unless episode 3 was a double episode which justify the skip of number 4, the episodes will have been directly numbered 1, 2, 3, 4 here.
OK, serious question then. Should all of the "The Tracey Ullman Show" show shorts be removed? The first 48 episodes under specials should probably be removed then, right?

Please create a dedicated content report. This as nothing to do with "The Simpsons: Season 36 - O C'mon All Ye Faithful" which is the subject of this one.
You are wrong and you know it. You can't proof your version.
There are two broadcaster now(Fox an Disney+), an both must be used as source.
Fox has only their episodes on site, because they didn't have rights for Disney+ episodes.
In overall order Disney episodes are 10/11 an 14 in season. You can't ignore this.
Secondary sources are pretty good in such case. For example - https://tv.apple.com/us/show/the-simpsons/umc.cmc.1kfo3z1jtaj8ff6wsh9cvxbwu. This is official and reliable source and can and be used here. They released episodes officially.

As indicated, for us, the simple fact that they don't mention that these episodes are part of the season is enough.
There will be no change. End of the topic.
