Extra Details: There's a lot of stuff listed here which duplicates content elsewhere, for exmaple "the simpsons movie" and "Inside the actors' studio" are both listed on their own pages.

Duplication is no problem. There's no harm in leaving these in the specials.

Well no, it won't harm anything but it does duplicate content.

Removing it will cause more harm than good. All users using the data as a source for their media center would have to rename files.
