Eine deprimierte Tante Clara besucht Samantha und klagt ihr Leid: Da sich alle über ihr Alter lustig machen, würde sie sich am liebsten in etwas ganz Nützliches verwandeln – zum Beispiel in eine Kuh. Als Samantha wenig später Darrin in der Werbeagentur abholt, sieht sie in der Halle die berühmte Preiskuh Ginger für Mortons Milchprodukte-Werbung. Samantha denkt, Tante Clara habe Ernst gemacht. Sie nimmt Ginger mit nach Hause und versucht, ihr die Flausen auszureden.

Aunt Clara thinks that she is worthless and barren and wants to turn herself into something useful. Samantha discourages her from abusing herself and invites her to go to lunch with Darrin. At Darrin's building, Samantha leaves for a moment and Aunt Clara finds a seat in a covered-up display and falls asleep. Meanwhile, a policeman and a animal handler are fighting about having a cow in the building. This cow is actually the Morton Milk cow and it runs off. Samantha comes back to see this cow and thinks that Aunt Clara made good on her threat. She twitches the cow home to try to turn her back into her beloved aunt. Back at the building, the cow ends up missing and Darrin finds Aunt Clara. Samantha notices her mistake and returns the cow to its rightful owner.

Zia Clara è depressa poiché i suoi poteri si stanno sempre più affievolendo ed esprime la seria intenzione di concludere la sua carriera di strega trasformandosi in qualcosa di utile: una pianta, paralume, un soprammobile, un quadro. Sperando di alzarle il morale, Samantha le propone di andare in città e pranzare con Darrin, che sta progettando la campagna pubblicitaria della Morton Milk. Una volta nell'atrio del palazzo che ospita la McMann & Tate, Samantha lascia da sola la zia per qualche minuto e al suo ritorno non la trova più. Vedendo la mucca che sponsorizza la Morton Milk aggirarsi libera per la hall, Samantha crede che la zia abbia messo in atto il suo proposito e si sia trasformata in un utile animale...

Sem saber que tia Clara se transformou em uma vaca leiteira, Samantha transporta uma vaca de raça para sua sala na tentativa de desfazer o feitiço.
