I actually forgot about Luke. I didn't see him, unless I missed him too.
They almost got married so he definitely should have been there.
I was actually surprised they bothered to bring back Teddy the way his character is treated.
He was Maddie's father for 16 years and now she calls him 'Teddy' and it's all about her daddy Deacon. Maddie is getting more annoying with every episode.
Teddy definitely gets treated poorly. And the guy definitely made some bad (criminal) decisions and has went to prison for them. But he did step up and not only take responsibility for a child that was not his, but truly loves that child like his own. So he cannot be all bad.
And let's face it, Maddie only cares about Maddie. Cannot stand her character.

I guess they didn't want it to be all about Rayna past relationships.
I'm glad in the end, Teddy and Deacon were about to be civil about it. I see it maybe bring like a divorced couple, sharing custody.

The new show runners decided that there was no where else they could take their story and decided to drop the Luke and Layla characters.
