Something really weird happened to me on February 29th. I had to be taken to the hospital because I had bad chest pains. When I got to the ER, the did all of the Cardiac protocol tests, and while my EKG was fine, one of my blood tests showed something wrong, so I had to get a Cat-Scan of my chest. It showed that I had a slight case of pneumonia (apparently that what was causing the chest pain)! So I was given IV antibiotics at the ER, an antibiotics prescription, and sent to my beautiful (sarcasm alert, as Brian Williams would say) transitional housing room.
Then, on March 2nd, I got a call from the hospital that I went to on February 29th and was told that I had to come back to the ER for a reevaluation because the pneumonia infection had gotten into my blood. After freaking out for about 10 minutes, I took a Lyft back to the ER, and after first being given an Ativan, they did some more blood tests, gave me some more IV antibiotics, and decided to admit me. Then, after being transferred to a different hospital because of insurance reasons, I was hospitalized from March 2nd to March 5th. They pumped tons of IV antibiotics in me and the hospital took good care of me.
The strangest part of this is that other than the chest pains (which due to my Cardiac history I thought was my heart), I didn't have any pneumonia symptoms! This is the first time I've had pneumonia! Anyhow, I'm feeling a lot better, and since you guys are a closest thing I have to a family I thought that I'd let you know what happened.

@genplant29: Thank you for your concern. It was rather scary. I think the worst part was spending all day Sunday watching the Naked & Afraid Fan Edition Marathon while I was being pumped full of antibiotics! π

@wonder2wonder: Yes, the one time my ICD activated was on Halloween 2019, and to say that it hurt is an understatement.
