I just watched the sixth season second episode Encore again. It showcases the final appearance of Sam Elliott as Dr. Doug Roberts on the series and the second appearance of Linda Day George as Casey. I think Linda Day George was a better Femme Fatale than Lesley Warren. It always bothered me that the age difference between Lesley Warren and the rest of the cast (with the exception of Sam Elliott) was so obvious. Linda Day George is a better fit.
This is one of those "make the bad guy think a significant amount of time has past so he'll tell the IMF what they need to know" episodes, and this is one of the better ones, in my opinion. The bad guy in this episode is everyone's favorite Enterprise Captain, William Shatner, and he plays Thomas Kroll, an aging unstable mobster who the IMF make him think that he's back in 1937 New York, where he and guest agent Paul Manatee, pretending to be the younger version of Kroll's partner in crime, will lead the IMF to the remains of a mobster Kroll shot in 1937 and will put him and his partner in prison for good. Of course there are glitches in the course of the episode, especially with the real partner of Thomas Kroll finding out that something strange is happening with Kroll and tries to find out exactly what the hell is going on. Encore has become one of my favorite Mission Impossible episodes. I highly recommend it.

You should make time to watch it again, especially since it's Dr. Doug's swan song. BTW, are you SURE that you're okay?

@Jayhn1111: Why in the name of Robert Lansing are you concerned about me?

@Jayhn1111: Well, I found out about 6 weeks ago that I have severe arthritis in my spine which the spine specialist at the Orthopedic Medical Group I've been going to since 2018 who is my new doctor is planning to treat with Tramadol, Gabapentin, Voltaren and Physical Therapy. I'm still at the Transitional Housing place in (Sarcasm Alert) beautiful South Los Angeles, but the roommate I was stuck with for 3 months got kicked out about 10 days ago. Hopefully I won't be here too much longer, and at least I'm indoors. There are lots of people who aren't.

Amen to that! As they say on the Turkish Historical Dramatic Series Magnificent Century that I've been watching on YouTube, Allah give me patience!
