This is one of my favorite third season episodes. I love how the wannabe dictator was a woman this time, and it was great that the writers used the cult of personality that was Eva Peron as the inspiration for the villian. Ruth Roman did a terrific job, and "be careful what you wish for" ending was a hoot. An enjoyable episode, IMO.

I had to look that one up. Eternal beauty is a tough thing to pass up so I liked how they did it

@Jayhn1111 :😃 Yes, the end was cool. And I liked how the Vice President ordered Riva to be sent to an insane asylum. She'll be beautiful, but no one will ever believe her when she tries to tell them that she's really Riva Santel.

@Jayhn1111 I watched a documentary on YouTube this afternoon about Eva Peron, which of course made me think about Riva Santel. BTW, there was a real WTF moment in the episode when just as the team starts filming, Riva's lover Raoul walks in wearing big sunglasses ,using a cigarette holder to smoke, and announces that Riva's face is more famous than San Cordova's flag. He then leaves. Every time I see this, I always think, what the hell was that about?

@Jayhn1111 The man who played the President at the end of the episode, Ivor Barry, usually played an English guest IMF Agent several times during the run of the series.

I did recall him from other episodes. As is the case with many of the guest stars in these episodes
