I never really knew about this show, until a couple of months ago, when I found out about Janet Wright's passing. Unfortunate as that is, I came across this show, which never aired in my country and I have to say I love it. I mean, the first three or four episodes were a little bit of a turn off for me, because I'm used to more conventional sitcoms, but it's become one of my favorite shows now and I'm completely addicted to it. One of the things I like the most about "Corner Gas" is that it doesn't rely on sex all the time. I mean, I am not a prude and I can enjoy a little bit of sex-related humor, but these days, I feel like that is 60% of what we get in sitcoms and comedies in general. I think most of the actors are amazing too, especially Brent Butt.
I can't wait for the animated series.

I watched the show all the time when it was in production, never missed an episode. Even when they stopped making new episodes I would still watch re-runs and I also ended up purchasing the first season on DVD. It's been a while but I've gotten back into watching it and it's just like finding an old article of favourite clothing that's still as comfortable as ever.
