邪恶的科学家阿科威尔博士和威震天及霸天虎合作，利用他的思想控制装置发明了一支人类奴隶兵。威震天计划利用现存的太空桥技术把塞伯坦送入地球的轨道。因而产生的吸力而造成了巨大的自然灾害——如地震，火山爆发等。而人类奴隶兵则趁机把能量搜集进能量块。然而汽车人变形金刚无法像对待霸天虎那样对待人类奴隶兵。斯派克普拉是被霸天虎抓获的人类之一，因而他被套上了思想控制装置。他背叛了汽车人，甚至几乎毁了他们。他的儿子斯派克为他的行为感到痛苦和迷惑，在上集的高潮部分，塞伯坦逐渐靠近地球，而自然灾害也开始了。 |
