Why Not His Real Penis?

It has been reported that Matthew Rhys used a prosthetic for the scene in Ep 3, S6. Was it because he was embarrassed about his penis size? Afraid to let Lena touch it? I don't get it. You know Lena being the perv that she is would have loved to have gotten her hands on his real cock. So why the fake penis?

Maybe he felt awkward exposing himself on TV or having Lena touch his penis? If you had to act in a scene like that, would you expose yourself and let someone touch you?
