I think this is one of the best dramas in the history of TV. And one of the best parts is how Mason catches a witness on the stand and gets them to confess. A couple of great exchanges:
The murderer has gotten trapped by Mason, and the poor guy bemoans the fact that he planned it all so carefully, only to fail. Trying to figure out the mistake that got him caught, he asks Mason, "What did I do wrong?" Mason simply replies, "You committed murder."
Another time, after almost outmaneuvering Mason but finally getting caught, the murderer, on the witness stand, says, "I guess murder is all tricky and complicated." Mason replies, "No, murder is actually quite simple. It's the getting away with it that's all tricky and complicated." Zing! Ouch!
