Still one of my favorite episodes, for so many reasons! A great episode all around. And one of the few that mentions the judge by name. According to IMDB, John Gauladet portrayed a judge in 20 episodes of Perry Mason, not always using the same name. In this one, the bailiff calls him Benjamin Penna, although he's listed in the ending credits simpy as "the judge." Easy to remember. Benjamin (as in Franklin) and Penna (PA -where Franklin was from). LOL

SPOILERS!
Yes, this is amomg my favorite episdoes. It highlights how the LA fire department could fight crime and subdue criminals just a well as its police department! In addition to the judge being named, other neat little tidbits include: Barbara Hale was missing from the episode. Perry asked his receptionist Gertie to run a critical errand that normally would have been done by Della. Also, Paul Drake donned a wetsuit to go scuba diving to bring the episode to a climax. I wonder if William Hopper had a flashback to his days as a World War II frogman?!

Hi guys! How are you doing? I've been binge watching Perry Mason on CBS All Access (I love that streaming service. In addition to Star Trek Discovery and other new shows, they have a terrific archive of a lot of the old time classic CBS series.) I'll be joining the board, that is if my fellow Honorary Impossible Missions Force Agents approve! 🤔

I'm kinda tired and when I first pulled up the thread titles, I thought that this one said,"The Case Of The Arrogant Aristocrat"!🤔
