I just finished this show and have such polarizing opinions about it.

I don't think there's another show like it that has ever been made, ever. Like in the history of the earth. I found myself usually taking a while to get into a season but every time, by about episode 3 it grabbed on again and I never looked back.

I really did like Banshee. Sure, sometimes it was a little too aware of itself but overall, I liked that I always knew exactly what it was and it never pretended to be anything else. The main reason this worked is because underneath all the lipstick and gloss was a story that had some meat to it. It carried the crazy and that's exactly why this show worked.

I'm going to miss the crazy adventures of Lucas Hood.
