There was so much talk of how Klemperer would not play Klink unless Klink (being on the losing side)was a total loser. What was Fox's excuse for doing Crittenden? ("I won't play Col. Crittenden who was on the good winning side of the war, unless he is a total idiot and loser who just gets in with the winners!") I am practically positive there was nothing between him and fabulous Sigrid Valdis (Hilda). She of course was Bob Crane's wife but did Fox actually do the show quite a bit just to be enjoyably opposite her on the set?
