The pilot was ok, the one with the fires was less ok, felt like a really mediocre B movie. Third episode with the bombs turned me off completely. I find some of the acting really patchy, the over dramatic music, the cheesy psychic contrived stories, "Guy dumps bodies in the woods therefore he is a loner with a stutter!" They are also too good looking, and do macho poses sometimes which makes it even worse. This may sound weird but I came here from The Wire and Homicide Life on the Street and it is pretty jarring to see something so.... TV-ish, after seeing stuff that strives to be real. I also didn't like how each episode was so self contained, it seemed a bit old fashioned like I was watching Columbo or X Files or something. Also it is just so cheesy and cliched, the chess playing, "you gotta think outside the box", the super high IQ genius that is socially awkward, the thinking out loud to explain to the dumb audience what is going on, "If I was an arsonist where would I start Hmmm..." etc. I think I just convinced myself to move on.
