I'm sorry, but there is no contest as far as I'm concerned. Under Abby's "guidance," yes, the girls won more, but after a while, I barely paid attention to their routines on stage. But under Laurieann, it is clear that while they are not winning, they are far superior dancers now than they EVER were before. I find myself stopping playing whatever computer game I'm playing to watch each routine. OK, they are making mistakes, and Laurieann is correct; they lack the necessary stamina to make the pieces winners, but they can work on that. Winning isn't everything. I'd rather see them continue improving themselves and become stronger dancers than win all the time with weak performances.
They dance in sync, they hold their poses better, they turn better, they work harder, and overall they look better on stage now than they EVER did before.
Win or not win, I hope they keep up the good work!
