Just starting tp rewatch this, since it's on Amazon. Just a first random observation - but is that supposed to be the kitchen? I'm referring to the little room where people sit around at night with coffee. Miss Ellie is usually there, so it's in the main house. Is there another main kitchen? Wow - this one really seems off for the huge Ewing ranch where large parties are held.

No - I'm starting with Season 1. Up through Ep.6 at least there is that tiny little ugly kitchen that looks like it is out of the 1950's.
Either that is not the main kitchen or the production got better sets later when these pictures show.

Can you give me a particular episode so I can watch it (I can watch it at IMDb) & then I might be able to answer your question? I did watch it back in the day in the beginning.
