I don't understand... why was she suddenly cool with leaving with the Destroyer? And what did it want with Kelly?

I think that was part of his power. Sort of like a seduction so she would go willingly. If you noticed, she also was no longer concerned about the safety of those she loved. She just watched her father die. She was more concerned about skull face not being harmed by Renard. Perhaps he needed Kelly because he's a grimm and he could some how use his powers as well.

That makes sense! Thanks! I'm going to go back and watch that scene again with that theory in mind.

I'm definitely going to watch the finale again. I knew somehow everyone would be brought back to life. However, I thought it would be through the staff becoming whole again...once the missing piece attached itself. I thought Nick would use it to bring them all back.

I really didn't like how they ended it with only him being in the other reality. Especially when Eve went through first and then he followed. Also, remember the stick couldn't pass through the mirror. Diana said..."because it doesn't belong there. So they left holes in my opinion.

Why come back through the mirror into the living room, when skull face had supposedly passed through after Diana helped bring Nick back?

I also didn't really like how Nick was the only one aware of what happened on the other side

Well none of that was real anyway so it doesn't matter. It was all just some sort of illusion to get Nick to give up the stick or something or other. It was all pretty weak imo.

I disagree with it not being real. I believe it was...just another time within the universe. Hence the reason for the cloth and the alignment of stars.

My take on it was that it was real. I thought that's what they were telling us by the fact that Diana seemed to be aware of everything.

The writers said that when the Devil died, it created a portal , for which Nick to go back in time to BEFORE the Devil came through the mirror. This allowed the negation of everything that happened when he DID come though previously.

Link please. Thanks.

I think Diana was aware too. At the first pass when Nick and Eve came out of the mirror she said, "You're not a Hexenbeist any more." After everything happened and Nick returned to that point in time, Diana told Eve, "You're a Hexenbeist again."

So why was Eve already out of the mirror? Didn't they come back together the first time? Also, if the writers have to explain what happened then it is pretty poor writing.

BTW, why didn't the old dead ladies come and help BEFORE everybody got killed?

I would have to agree with you about having to explain the episode to the viewing audience.

As for Nick's mother and aunt not entering the scenario sooner. There was no need for them to do so. While Nick's loved ones were being killed, he wasn't yet at the point of trading the lives of humanity just so he could have his friends and family back.

I just caught up by watching the entire final season the past week. After Nick defeated Zerstörer and the staff was completed, he was sucked back through the portal. In my view, Nick was returned to the moment when Diana opened the portal and pulled him and Eve back through. The only differences were that Zerstörer did not follow because he was already dead, Eve was still a hexenbiest, and the completed staff came through with Nick and landed on the counter.

Both Nick and Diana were aware of what Nick had been through, as Diana indicated with her comment about Eve being a hexenbiest again and telling Nick that Zerstörer didn't come through this time.
