To be honest, it's run its course. They couldn't keep going with the Gladiator theme for too long so they went with the White House plot instead. Right now Olivia has everything she ever wanted. If she and Fitz stay together, I see Vermont and jam in their future.
Don't get me wrong, I love Scandal and I'm excited to see how things will develop for our friends before the end. I hope they all get some kind of closure and that Shonda will spare us the grief of having to bury a main character which sometimes happens unfortunately.
The reason I was so saying no was because I need closure. I need to see Liv and Fritz together, and I need to see it more than one brief second at the end.

Me too! And as the hopeless romantic I am, I'd love to see Huck get his happy ending aswell. He just needs to find someone that isn't a backstabbing bitch.
I can live with that. Its my favorite show in Shondaland but still, I can live with that. Even though I've been along for the ride from the jump without truly hate watching it like some here....yeah I can live with it. Just make it the most harass of all the seasons and... I can live with that. 😏
I've been Team Olitz the entire run of the show - until this season... Olivia has become a perfect blend of Eli and Maya Pope. This "new" Olivia belongs with Jake Ballard.
Pretty sure Fitz knew about it after the fact. I think when Abby gave him her medical records. Could be possible that he wasn't sure the baby was his though.

The same Jake Ballard that only knows how to take orders?

Oh, I didn't know that, but you would think he would question her on it.

YEP. This new Olivia doesn't want an equal. She wants a man she can control.

But this man is still married. And odds are, this new Olivia is heading for a fall and do you honestly think Jake is going to be the one that helps her rebound? Of course not because he's nothing but a clingy robot.
Just looking at the big picture, it's hard to think much of him.

I agree, and I want him to have father-son time too. Enough of not offering him that! He's not with B16 anymore.

All I want is for Fritz to know she was pregnant for him. Someone, other than Liv, needs to know, imo.
