לאחר שלורד גרמאדון שולח את סמוקאי לכפר של קאי כדי לגנוב את מפת 4 כלי הנשק וחוטף את אחותו, ניה. סנסיי וו, מאמן את קאי, זאין, קול, וג'יי להפוך לנינג'ות במטרה להשיג את המפה ולהציל את ניה.

Long ago, the Four Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu were created by a great warrior who created Ninjago, the First Spinjitzu Master. When he passed away, his sons were tasked with protecting them but the older brother was consumed by evil and became Lord Garmadon, determined to use the weapons to reshape Ninjago in his own image. Sensei Wu was forced to banish his brother to the Underworld and hide the four weapons with dragons as guardians. However, Lord Garmadon has recruited an army of skeletons to find the map that will lead them to the four weapons. Sensei Wu needs Kai, Zane, Cole and Jay to use Spinjitzu and the Tornado of Creation to find the weapons first. Only then will the world be safe.

A solitary wanderer meets Kai, a young sword-maker, and his sister Nia in their small farming village right before a terrifying skeleton army arrives, ransacking their shop. The army takes a map hidden by their father years ago and Nia! The wanderer turns out to be Sensei Wu, an old friend of their father's. He promises to help Kai find his sister, but first Kai must become a ninja and master the art of spinjitzu. Kai begins his training and soon meets Sensei Wu's other ninja's, who realize they've all been recruited for very specific skill sets. Long ago, four weapons of spinjitzu were created by a great warrior. When he passed, his sons were tasked with protecting them. However, the older brother, Lord Garmadon, wanted to use the weapons for his own powerful and evil intents. Sensei Wu was forced to banish his brother to the Underworld and hide the four weapons with dragons as guardians.

Jay takes Nya for a ride on his dragon, Wisp, to pick up some things she needs at Four Weapons.

The ninja wish to know which among them is the true dragon master.

Kruncha and Nuckal discuss how the ninja ruined everything in the underworld and hit upon an idea.

Cole asks Sensei Wu how Garmadon gained control over the Skeleton Army.

Kai and Nya are riding on his dragon, Flame, when it suddenly takes them back to the Fire Temple.

ליל מוסיקה ב"חוכמה הנעלה" הופך לאסון בגלל ניגון הקלרינט הצורם של דארת'. אז אחרי שלוק מתה מוזיקליות, הנינג'ות מוצאים את ציוד הלהקות שלהם לבמה ו"מרעידים את המקום".

הנינג'ות חוגגים על הבמה אבל כאשר וו מגלה שהם שתו מהתה מוזיקליות, הוא מתחרפן! בגלל שסוג התה הזה עוד לא נוסה על אף אחד, הניגון של הנינג'ות עלול להגיע ל"תו גרעיני".

כשבחור נאה מתחיל עם ניה, ג'יי מתחיל לקנא. הוא מחפש ומוצא תה-יופה שאמור להפוך אותו לגרסא יותר יפה וחטובה של עצמו.

כדי לפתות לקוחות מבית הקפה היריב, זאין מתחפש לרובוט תחזוקה העובר במקום כדי לבצע בדיקה שגרתית של מכונות האספרסו. אך התעלול הקטן של הנינג'ות יוצר תוצאות בלתי צפויות.

עובדים המאחרים מקבלים את מטלת נקיון השירותים, אז לכן לויד לא רוצה לאחר למשמרת בבית התה אך נתקל במגוון בעיות בדרכו לעבודה.

Nya helps Zane backup memories of their adventures to the Samurai X Cave computer, but Zane encounters a mysterious puzzle buried deep within his code.

Nya digitizes Jay and uploads him into Zane’s mind. Jay reviews memories of the Ninja’s various motorcycles, mechs and planes in order to solve the vehicle-themed puzzle.

Cole joins Jay and Zane inside the Nindroid to solve a mysterious puzzle by revisiting some of Ninjago’s distinctive destinations.

Kai enters Zane’s mind and suggests the Ninja take a break from puzzle-solving to figure out which villain is trying to hack their friend.

The team tackles a puzzle about technology in Ninjago while the threat to Zane grows graver by the minute.

Jay, Kai and Zane remember some of Ninjago’s most fearsome creatures in order to help Cole defend the cave from an unidentified monster.

The Ninja confront memories of their greatest villain and ally, Garmadon, before the threat to Zane controls him completely.

The final puzzle forces each ninja to question the true meaning of the Green Ninja Prophecy, but success is not what it seems.

Solving the puzzles releases a new peril for the Ninja to face. Will memories of their greatest victories be enough to defeat it?

Jay is being pursued by the Red Visors, a race that ends with him meeting a man named Scott.

Jay and Scott introduce themselves, but are forced to escape from the Red Visors.

Gayle Gossip is reporting on the appearance of the video game Prime Empire and interviews a line of people who are waiting to play it.

Master Wu is kidnapped by a dragon and taken through a portal, so the ninja must give chase.

The ninja must try to rescue Master Wu by crossing a crypt guarded by a lava monster.

The ninja find themselves in Prime Empire racing against the Whack Rats in the Speedway Five-Billion race while continuing to search for Master Wu.

The honesty of the ninja is tested in the Palace of the Ice Emperor when Jay and Kai are forced to take part in a jousting competition.

Zane must demonstrate the virtue of generosity and make a sacrifice when the ninja return to Shintaro.

When Master Wu is taken captive by four dragons, Kai must demonstrate the virtue of courage.

Chen has a new chair…what could possibly go wrong? Maybe he should have listened to Clouse and read the building instructions!

Watch Chen and Clouse play a game of table tennis. It takes great focus and coordination and apparently a crazy robotic chair.

Chen is bored and begins to test the various buttons at random.

Chen, thirsty from the heat, struggles to locate a button on his throne to bring him water.
