Why soo long of a wait for the second season? I don't have ant interest in Luke Cage, forget the name of the new series )heard Jessica will feature in it as well as others) bit you would think they could be filmed & 'aired' together. Just seems crazy waiting a whole year!

Well, the creators had a plan. They want each defender to have their own story and then connect them. I don't know why so much time needed to pass between each series, but I understand why The Defenders and Jessica Jones can't happen at the same time. I don't want to see Iron Fist ( terrible casting), but I'll watch The Defenders to get my Jessica Jones fix.

Do you know when the Defenders will start? I might watch that...assuming it will be on Netflix also, right?

Couldn't tell you. It's supposed to come out this year, but I don't think Iron Fist has even premiered yet.

Couldn't agree more re: Iron Fist and casting issues... it's the Netflix Marvel series I'm least excited for (by a long margin). However, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I loved Luke Cage - even though I don't think he's the most interesting character in Marvel print... I loved LOVED the series, almost as much as I loved Jessica Jones (which is still my favorite). Greaarrghh! Can't wait for the next season of JJ or to see her in The Defenders - and to see Trish finally become Hellcat?? PLEASE?

I didn't like Daredevil as much as I did Jessica Jones, so I'm pissed he got a second season before she did. I want more JJ!

Works for me. Now I have time to catch up on all these series. It will suck when I do catch up though lol. But then again, they'll probably come out with 7 more series by that time
