The episodes are split from how they were originally shown.

For cartoons that have multiple segments, each episode should be split so that each segment is an episode. That's why there are 36 episodes instead of 20.

Some episodes are also in the wrong order differing from how they are on the DVD and other official releases. I think this was due to some odd airing date differences.

The order we use on TMDB is based on first air date.

I don't know if someone edited the episodes after this was closed, however, the episodes are listed with dates out of place, with episodes 4 and 5 having aired before episodes 2 and 3.

I don't know enough about this to know if more than the dates have been changed, but it seems someone added the dates and the episodes are placed on their DVD order, not the aired order.
