In un bar, Rufy, un bambino di sette anni, chiede al pirata Shanks di farlo entrare nella sua ciurma. L'uomo però lo prende in giro e cerca di fargli cambiare idea. All'improvviso fa il suo ingresso nel locale il bandito Higuma, seguito dai suoi uomini. L'uomo chiede che venga servito loro molto sakè, ma i pirati lo hanno terminato a parte un'ultima bottiglia, che Shanks gli offre. Higuma si infuria e distrugge alcune bottiglie per poi andarsene; i pirati fingono di esserne spaventati ma poi scherzano sull'accaduto. Solo Rufy si arrabbia perché i suoi idoli non hanno tenuto testa ai banditi, ma Shanks gli spiega che era solo una lite senza importanza.

Speciale TV 1:

La ciurma di Cappello di Paglia incontra una città nel mezzo di un vortice, chiamata Ocean's Naval, che viene distrutta da mostri giganti. Questi mostri dovrebbero proteggere un tesoro capace di esaudire i desideri, ma nel processo di sconfiggere questi guardiani, la ciurma finisce per liberare un altro male.

Speciale TV 3:

Sull'isola su cui si trovano i Pirati di Cappello di paglia avrà luogo, quella sera, uno spettacolo teatrale. L'attore di lunga data Randolph si esibisce nel suo ultimo spettacolo d'addio. I Pirati di Cappello di Paglia decidono di comprare i biglietti per andare a vedere lo spettacolo sulla nave-teatro. 30 minuti prima dell'inizio dello spettacolo, 3 attori decidono di abbandonare lo spettacolo, lasciando lo spettacolo di Randolph a corto di personale. Nami fa un accordo con il direttore dello spettacolo per partecipare come principessa per 100.000 Beli, e anche i restanti membri della ciurma di Cappello di Paglia decidono di aiutare ad eccezione di Zoro.

Speciale TV 4:

Primo Ep.: In una terra lontana chiamata Grande Zipangu è primavera. La banda di malviventi capitanati da Bagy attacca l'agenzia di cambio gestita da Ipponmatsu. In quello stesso momento Rufy sta mangiando al ristorante gestito da Nami e paga con dei soldi requisiti a dei falsari, ignaro che si tratta appunto di denaro contraffatto. Usop lo raggiunge e lo informa che il gruppo di Bagy è arrivato in città e sta seminando il caos. Rufy allora decide di andare ad arrestarli. Secondo Ep.: Una notte Bibi viene inseguita e circondata da alcuni degli uomini di Bagy. I banditi cercano di rapirla per ottenere un riscatto, ma lì vicino si trova Zoro; i malviventi lo attaccano e lui li sconfigge. Rufy ed Usop assistono alla scena, così quando Zoro se ne va i due la portano al ristorante di Nami, dove Chopper cura le sue ferite.

This is the second recapitulation episode, covering how each member of the Straw Hat Pirates (up to Nico Robin) joined the crew. It covers events from Romance Dawn Arc, Orange Town Arc, Syrup Village Arc, Baratie Arc, Arlong Park Arc, Drum Island Arc, Arabasta Arc, and Water 7 Arc.

Nami leaves the crew after the Baratie Arc to go back to her village. Luffy and the crew follow her, and discover that she is working for a dangerous Fish-Man pirate named Arlong.

During a battle with several Marine warships, the Straw Hat Pirates are forced to make an emergency Coup de Burst in order to escape. Crash landing on a nearby island, after finding a town, they learn of the town's past and people while Luffy befriends a nearby wax sculptor.

During a lull in their travel, the Straw Hats are milling around the Thousand Sunny. Usopp, Chopper, and Brook head out to explore the surrounding ocean in the Mini Merry II. Brook asks about the Merry, since he joined after the crew had acquired the Sunny.

Luffy is currently in Rusukaina training to get stronger to take on the New World. However, the training is interrupted when Hancock's sisters, Marigold and Sandersonia, are kidnapped by Byrnndi World, a pirate who was locked away on Level 6 of Impel Down.

After Ace's death in the Marineford War, which is seen in flashbacks, Sabo appears at his grave. He later arrives in Dressrosa to investigate a weapon smuggling, where he is informed that Doflamingo is holding a tournament at the nearby coliseum with Ace's Flame-Flame devil fruit as a prize.

Al quartier generale della Marina un ufficiale tiene un discorso ai suoi sottoposti durante il quale sottolinea la pericolosità dei Pirati di Cappello di paglia, ma dichiara anche di avere un piano per sconfiggerli.

Tempo dopo la Thousand Sunny sta continuando il suo viaggio, finché Chopper vede che su un'isola a poca distanza qualcuno sta facendo un segnale di soccorso per richiamare la loro attenzione. La ciurma nota che in prossimità della spiaggia c'è un vascello che è naufragato e che sulla spiaggia si trova un gruppo di belle ragazze. Rufy decide di approdare per soccorrerle. Dopo averle raggiunte Sanji si accorge che ci sono anche alcune persone che sono solo travestite da donne, così il capo del gruppo si rivela a loro: è Foxy, che finalmente è riuscito a ritrovare la ciurma di Rufy.

The Straw Hats meet a girl named Olga and travel with her to Alchemi in the pursuit of Pure Gold, but are pursued by the Marines and the treasure hunter Mad Treasure.

As the Straw Hat Pirates prepare to leave East Blue and enter the Grand Line, each of them reminisce about their journey to that point as they reaffirm their dreams. Monkey D. Luffy, a rubber man. Roronoa Zoro aka “Pirate Hunter.” Usopp, a sniper. Sanji, a seafaring cook. Nami, “Cat Burglar”. They, the Straw Hats, all place a foot upon a barrel and make their vows before their next journey across the great ocean.

The Straw Hats discover a map to Skypiea, a supposedly mythical civilization in the sky. They soon meet Mont Blanc Cricket, who directs them to a natural underwater explosion which serves as transport to the islands in the sky.

Bartolomeo and Otama look back on Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew's adventures in the Land of Wano. Otama tells Bartolomeo about her meeting with Luffy, and the events leading up to the fierce battle with Kaido.
