Item: One Piece
Language: en-US
Type of Problem: Incorrect_content
Extra Details: Most seasons don't have a release date. I wonder if it's because it pre-populates using the release date for episode 1 but One Piece does not reset its episode numbers with each season.
Maybe something to account for in the algorithm that populates a season's release date? Could it use the date from the lowest / earliest episode? A manual update would be perfect for now of course!

As explained in the previous content reports for this show, all seasons will be merged by the administrator at a future date. in a single one to respect the original Japanese broadcast where this show is not split in multiple seasons.

Considering that this has been the reply for this type of report for well over a year, would it be possible to have an intermediate fix? I'm sure merging all seasons into one is not trivial so I don't wish to criticise how long it's taking to do so. What I'm trying to say is that if the "definitive" fix is going to take a while, is it worth considering an (hopefully) simpler fix where each season release date is manually updated? If that's possible in the first place, of course. Hope that makes sense!

We can't manually update the date of the seasons.
