I'm sure that there's a reason beyond my understanding but I noticed discrepancies between what The Movie DB and say the One Piece Wiki Fandom list as the appropriate episodes for a given arc.
I've seen this in a number of the seasons but, for example: The Movie DB lists the Fishman Island Arc as being 523-580 but the OP Wiki lists it as 523-574. Leaving 575-578 off the table for the moment, episode 579 is titled "Arriving! A Burning Island - Punk Hazard!" and does mark the show progressing to that part of the story. Why is it that episodes 579 and 580 are listed as being part of Fishman Island? Like I mentioned before this is mostly a curiosity and Im sure there's a reason beyond my current understanding.
Cheers!

I appreciate the context but after reading the previous content report I'm still left with questions. What is the point of combining all episodes into a single long list? Given the size of this story it would make sense (at least to me) to provide a contextual means of breaking it up. Someone wishing to explore the show here would have to navigate a colossal page of never ending content. Additionally, tools that reference this websites content (like Jellyfin) would be presenting users with (again) a colossal page of never ending content. I understand that Story arcs are not seasons but then why not simply call them Arcs or Sagas instead of seasons. Anyway, all this is just my opinion but to me it makes little sense for a story this large to be shown as a single list.

The point is, as indicated in our rules, to respect the original Japanese broadcast where the episodes are simply numbered continuously without season splits.
