Extra Details: I don't want to personally alter the TMDb listing for this competition show, but the season that concluded last night was referred to, by ABC, as "Season 1", and the next season, that auditions have been announced for, is being referred to, again by ABC, as "Season 2". I watched the entire season that concluded last night, and multiple times throughout the season they referred to it being "Season 1", and next season being "Season 2".

So this rebooted competition series should be given its own separate listing, no longer combined with the past FOX seasons.

When that's done, please ask Travis to transfer my regular message board thread https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/3626-american-idol/discuss/5aa62277c3a36839d5004691 for American Idol from this listing to that new listing, as otherwise there won't be any discussions that reflect the new series. (That thread I created doesn't pertain to the FOX series, that was canceled the other year, and that has a deservedly low 44 TMDb rating, instead pertains solely to the new ABC series, which I was very impressed with, found to be really well done, and am confident it'll get a much higher TMDb score.)
