Season 18 Episode 11 Airing the Dirty Laundry

Christine is ecstatic when Mykelti tells her she's having twins; Meri reveals that while out for their anniversary, Kody finally admitted he no longer wants a relationship wither her, and she is forced to consider ending her marriage for good.
Again another boring filler episode filled with old photo slide shows and things we are all already aware of. I still don't get why it has taken Meri so long to finally realize Kody didn't care about her anymore. We also know the final nail in the coffin was Robyn and Kody and their disparaging remarks about Leon and Audrey.
With several of the adult kids seemingly out to make their own money, they are talking more and more. Gwedolyn has come out running her mouth against Christine and Mykelti has revealed she was not paid for when she was on the show when she had her kids. We know they filmed Christine's wedding for the show but if these two keep running their mouths, there may not be another season. I feel bad for these adult kids because they all have serious problems and I hope they are seeking therapy for it.

This episode actually moved the story forward, which Doug hinted it would.
The part with Meri was interesting. We know at the end of last season Kody and Meri announced to the world that they were over. That was January 2023. We also know, because of social media, that she made her final move from Arizona to Utah in 2023. I guess the show is going to drag this on even longer since Meri was still having doubts in the last scene.
It wasn't until I watched Janelle planting that Garrison's house is probably a condo that has a yard. I also liked that they addressed that Gwen never moved into the house (we know she moved in with her yet to be seen girlfriend/current wife). They also skimmed over the fact the Maddie had written off her father. No Kody it had nothing to do with his divorce from Christine, it had to do with the way you dealt with Ysabel's surgery, as well as Evie's surgery, all which happened the same Fall. He couldn't be bothered with being there for either surgery. Christine and Ysabel spent two weeks with Maddie prior to Ysabel's surgery. They had to go there in order to fly into New Jersey. Arizona was on the no admit list for New Jersey, New York, and New England. They had to quarantine in North Carolina for two weeks, just to fly into New Jersey. Kody didn't fly back for that surgery, nor did he fly back for Evie's amputation. That is when Maddie got mad.
Janelle's kid's and Christine's kids all got together in Flagstaff for Christmas in 2021. The one that was missing was Maddie. She, Caleb, and the kids went to Oklahoma to visit Caleb's sister for Christmas. Janelle has been back to visit North Carolina numerous times, has Kody? No. Maddie has been West for Logan's, Gwen's, and Christine's weddings. Has she posted any pictures on IG of her father? Hell no.
This episode actually put a lot of pieces together for me, most of which I saw glimpses of on Instagram. Well there is always the discussion on Reddit, which just makes your head spin if you read too much. I can't wait to see what Katie Joy does with this episode. It will be entertaining.
Okay I'm off to bed. Hopefully, I don't dream about this show.

I don't blame the older kids for not having anything to do with Kody. As I have said numerous times, Kody accepts absolutely no responsibility for his own actions and the things he's said and done.
It was so sad to hear Meri tell what Kody told her on their "anniversary" but, there, again, the final nail in that coffin was what Robyn and Kody said about Leon and Audrey.
