Season 18 Episode 6 The Understatement of the year

Christine reveals she's hired a matchmaker; Meri makes plans to move her business but worries about how Robyn will take the news; Janelle meets with Kody for the first time since their huge fight and asks if he still wants plural marriage.

Interested in seeing Robyn's reaction to Meri moving although I think it will be fake. This season has really not revealed anything new because everything we've seen has already been on the internet. This is what sucks about this show is that it is always a year or more behind. I still stick to my previous statement of I really don't see where they can go after this season.

Is that code for "my checkbook and I are moving to Parowan?"

LMAO ...........I'd say it definitely was!

Well that was yet another filler episode.

I'm glad Janelle hammered Kody about not even calling Savannah at Christmas. I don't know why Kody seem surprised that Janelle wanted to stay separated.

I can't believe Meri is, or should I say was, STILL holding out hope that her and Kody would work things out.

We had someone visiting last night that had never seen Sister Wives; last night's boring episode was perfect for explaining the family dynamics during the vast amount of dead time.

The one thing we learned was when Janelle and Kody separated. In last season's tell all they said that they were separated; however, now we know the official separation started before Christmas in 2021 and definitely became official in February of 2022.

Also, we know Meri moved her business to Parowan in 2022, but we know from IG that she moved the rest of herself to Parowan in early 2023.

Kody really needs a refresher course on what Gaslighting means. If you constantly make other people feel like everything is their fault, you are the gashlighter, not the gaslightee. The longer this show goes on the more he demonstrates his classic narcissistic personality.

He keeps talking about the littles; but Sol is only a year younger than Truely. Sol and Ari seem to be infantilized, while Truely has been given adult child status at ripe old age of 11. I really don't think Kody knows Ari and Sol's ages, he just knows one of them still uses a binky.

Well I guess next week Mari finally has her discussion with Robyn and Janelle tells Christine she is through with Kody. By then we should be up to March 2022.

I agree The first segement with just Christine was horrible. We all get and know why Christine left Kody. We all know and realize she'd have reservations about dating again. Having said that she really wasted no time in getting with someone else and they are getting married here in a couple of weeks.

Those younger kids have been put through more than they deserve. I feel real sorry for Solomon and Ariella because they both are extremely spoiled and extremely sheltered. Those two will definitely have serious issues when they get older. Robyn's other 3 are old enough to start realizing what is going on and suspect they all three will face problems soon enough.

Great point that gets overlooked.

LOL

I'm still tripping on the fact that Kody said that Jenelle was using him for money. (Yeah, I know he said the "body" too, but ...")

I'm like didn't Janelle exhaust her 401K for the family?

Didn't Janelle get a small inheritance from a family member that the family benefited from....?

Didn't she use the proceeds of her Vegas home for Robyn's house?

I'm sure she put down money for the land.

I'm sure she earned money for being on the show.

I wished he said that comment to her face, because I suspect that she would have blown up in his face.

One of the things I laughed about was Kody talking about Polygamy Monogomy, where a man is married to many women and the women have nothing to do with each other and all live in separate houses. I hate to inform him of this but that is 90% of polygamists, especially the AUB, including the Brown's family parents.

Rulon Allred's wives didn't even live in the same town; in fact one lived in Rigby Idaho.

Kody is not the one that had the money. It was Meri and Janelle giving all their money to him and Robyn. I wish I knew what they did with the money they get from the show. Did all the others have to give their TLC money to Kody and Robyn? I wouldn't doubt that.
